Music has went downhill badly the last 20 years, you get the occasional good band that do something new unlike generic gay emo bands who all sound the same. The audio hasn't been changed, Marty is not performing this live, he's miming to the record...which makes it appear out of sync at times. A lot of the examples from this video are mimed...

My comments were in no means a slur on Marty, who is one of my favorite players. The audio from the song examples sounds exactly like the original records, although Marty's hands don't always look like they are in sync with the audio. This would suggest that he is not playing the examples live; I am in no way suggesting that Marty isn't capable of playing the examples. Incidentally, if you own his Hot Licks video, you may notice that he mimes along to the audio of the solo example on that.
