wow so this is what it is, ive had this from age 10 and its been seasonal for the most part. Could u provide any help on treating this? Ive seen so many doctors and they've all put it down to 'habit', its so frustrating. Thanks
Can you help me? I randomly got this sort of thing (except it isn't as severe but I'm afraid it might develop into something like it). I don't blink hard but I do tend to stress my eyebrows and sort of "raise" them and kind of widen my eyes repetitively. I have to admit I did extensively expose my eyes to computer screens, books, movies and on top of that severe deprivation of sleep etc. How can I fix it? This is my 3rd day and it's really starting to almost depress me.
hi i blink my eyes a lot and really hard like the video but not THAT much ont get me wron i do it like every minute but not rpeatedly like that its been going on for about a year now and i started cuz i saw my grandma do it so i did it to see what it felt like and ive been hooked ever since i thinks its maybe like a habit now but i want to stop so baD!!! like people have begun to notice and it just brings me to tears because i hate it please help me please i really wanna stop please reply
I believe i have this. i am 15 years old and i also hum while i do it. it comes on and off like it will go away for a month then come back with a vengeance. :[ how do i cope with it? how can i treat it without surgery or weird toxin injections/anything major?
I have a very severe condition of blepharospasm. My eyes were completely closed and I couldn't open my eyes for 3 months waiting to get botox injection..First time I got 60 units of botox..It helped me just 10% comparing how it was before the botox..I was very disappointed...After 3 months, I got another set of botox, this time 86 units...This time my eye muscles were much better, but it was still far from normal.
Soon, I am going to get a third set of a botox, and this time doctor will inject me 90 units and 10 units around my nose because I also developed some facial movement. One hour before this procedure, I always apply EMLA, which is topical anesthetic. I buy it in the drugstore and cost CND11 dollars. Due to this cream, I've never felt any pain or burning during or after this procedure. My doctor uses BOTOX, TYPE A...Hopefully, this will help to someone.
@yongzm You likely have blepharospasm if you're blinking excessively and cannot stop it. I suffered with blepharospasm for several years and found a natural solution that worked for me and now I'm helping others find the same relief. Feel free to give me a call at 410-486-2525 or watch my video connected to my Youtube username which is the blue link to your left.
Maybe the proble was on the part of her extraocular muscles. The movement of eyeballa and eyelids are controlled by three cranial nerves, namely cranial nerve III, IV, and VI. MAybe the problem lies on these three cranial nerves. Medical consultation is the most appropriate action to do.

Okay, my daughter's eyes don't twitch like this, so I can rule Blepharospasm out.
However, she has trouble opening her eyes. She has to really struggle to try to open them.
She has had this for about half a year now.
Do you know what this could possibly be?
