I didn't know there was a final boss theme in the original! I have the game (bought it with the PS2) and I didn't hear this. I just got the music when you enter Veldin the 2nd time. I thought it was really boring for a last fight music. After this, I'm shocked lol

I played lots of games for PC, PS2, NDS and GBA, and by far this was the most epic and incredibly hard (without the RYNO) boss battle ever.

This is why I prefer video game music over anything on the radio, such intense and well composed music is a joy to hear, and the R&C series always delivers. I feel that from Deadlocked to the more recent games though that they have lost the old feel and style of their music, but I still appreciate the music as its own style.

This is only for the Platinum version. The original one have the Veldin music on the final boss.

It is not just for the platinum version. This music appears in the original as well, when ratchet jumps from the floating platforms in order to damage drek on the huge rocks.

No, it's for the Platinum Version. If you search the final boss on YouTube you'll find some video without this soundtrack, both PAL and NTSC users.

yeah after you get there you have to go all the way back to the start and use the teleporter to get the music in the boss fight

@AuronSuper95 The trigger for the music was glitched-If I remember correctly it only played If you destroyed the robot army, and walked to a certain point.

@Dragonfloe Yes. I used my old disc, I backtracked to the Clank area and I got the music. It seems on the Platinum version they improved also the graphics a lot.
