I admit I "disliked" this; although the government aren't doing well, but these guys are critizing as if they are looking for a fight. I am not at the point of saying that they are talking bullshit, but I wish someone who is of knowledge do this kind of propaganda, such as engineers and scientist or even lawyer background. These guys just don't seems to convince me they are better, or having the intuition of bringing wealth and development to the country

As a political theorist, he was also Lim Kit Siang's former political secretary and the former DAP Socialist Youth national secretary. I'm pretty sure he understands the political situation in Malaysia better than most Malaysian politicians.

Yes, they give speeches that may not be considered as intelligent or academic, BUT that's the point! They have to appeal to the general public that don't care about politics, and I think their approach have been quite successful.

@junwenteh By the way, you can read his book "Beyond Dogma and Pragmatism: A Research on DAP" (2007, in Chinese) for an in-depth analysis of DAP for the past 40 years. Be warned though, it is a research book that reads more like a dissertation than a book for lay public.

@junwenteh talk to a teacher like talk to a teacher , talk to a student like talk to a student ... I agree with you most of the audience might not be so educated .. I dont believe that bring out all the stat or explain micro economy or macro economy , or how to systematic finish your job things will convince them .. as most of them will not understand. If I am a politician, I will try to make my audience to understand what I want to say , and say something they like to hear .

有建設性的提議就是兩線制，換政府。一個民主制度成熟的國家必然是一個擁有兩大政黨或兩大陣營政黨輪流交替當政府的國家。這是最能付合人民利益的制度。
兩線制能使一個政府無法坐大，無法明目張胆的濫權瀆職，官商勾結，官官相衛，私相受授，貪贜枉法。因為以上種種行為需要時間建立‘關係’和'學習經驗’，兩線制沒有機會給一個政府促夠長的時間讓它腐敗，新上任的政府只能依靠明文規定的法則辦事，因為他們沒足夠的‘走後門經驗’。
兩線制也符合市場上的竟爭原則，一黨專政的國家就有如一個壟斷市場的品牌，沒有竟爭對手，它做久了就會變得越來越麻木不仁，而它所提供的服務或産品的素質也會變越來越差，這是不爭的事實，鐡一般的定律。
就算下一屆大選國陣輸了，對國陣來説未嘗不是一件好事，這反而能夠讓國陣檢討過失，清除淤血(拿好處的黨員必定離開)，改革創新，做好在野黨監督新政府的工作，重新出發準備應付新一輪的大選。這才是以民為本的國陣，也是人民想要看到的國陣。
一個擁有兩線制的國家才能夠稱得上一個真正民主制度成熟的國家。
