  • very nice.. that is some really nice growth going on. even if the branch fell off, just leave it there and it will grow another branch soon right? just a thought. My avocado seeds are sucking, me and Isaac have been talking about it, but hopefully at least one will take hold and start to root soon. anyways, good luck with your shelf and lighting system , take care

  • @wmkk808 I would however because it is black and dead all the way to the graphing point so it would be unlikely that it would grow the fruit like i was wanting. but its cool i got 4 other trees. :)

  • @wmkk808 as for the alvocado i hope it will do alright. it seemed much smaller than the other ones you both have. but im going to try for it. i will wait till the tree has about 4 or more leaves on it. ill let you both know how it is going ;)

  • Lol good luck with the avocado! And all of your other plants are looking great!

  • @Incredibleisaac2 Thank you. i will let you know when it starts putting out roots.

  • That window is huge! You'll be growing a jungle in the living room in no time!

  • @Helioforge ya right now it looks pretty barren and people look at it funny when they come in but they won't when i have it full of plants. :)

  • Great setup!

  • Looks like you're all ready to get going. This is always an exciting time of year (for us Northern Hemisphere types) and, today, I had some seeds and potatoes arrive so things will be kicking off in a few weeks. I also got 3 seed catalogues so now I'm totally confused about which types I am going to buy.

    Best Wishes, Brendan.

  • @baconsoda For the most part yes. i need a few lights to help them not be lanky. i am planning to start onion seeds and peas very soon. i was reading a planting guide for this area. A beautiful sunny day today. Hope you get all the seeds you want this year. :) Im sure it isn't easy to decide.

  • hey! the shelf looks amazing! glad to see your doing soo well!

  • @MIgardener Thanks. I can't wait. Just all that new growth on the trees has happen the last week or so. I stopped watering them so much as well as i think they are finally over being transplantted. Now i'm hoping the miracle fruit start growing new leaves. they sure are growing really slow. :) maybe spring comming up will send them into more growth.

  • Very nice! I am actually growing lemon trees on my desk at work under fluorescent light. I have a couple video's on them! I planted the seeds on 9/11 and they are about 5 inches tall and doing well!

  • @cfenster Neat. brings the nature inside. Mine are growing under cfl 125 watt. but when i see the sun come out i try to get them in the sun for a bit to help. today is the perfect day to do that here. Good luck on your lemon tree.

  • Nice! Thanks for the update. You have a green thumb for growing miracle fruit tree :)

  • @4GreenEarth2 Thank you. this is all new for me. i can't wait till they put off a new set of leaves.
