it does not have wifi. but my dad has had the tilt since it came out. and wifi is free so you can go on internet for free without wifi. and unlitmited minuites!! and the reason the screen doesnt change quickly is cause its a commputer phone so of course it would take a wile to withdraw information in rotation. hope i helped you! :]

I was going back and fourth between the Duo and AT&T Samsung Propel.. I liked Duo for the keyboard, as well as the Propel's keyboard. What made me choose propel was that Duo is more computer like. Also Duo confuses you with the trouble of getting to ur text message folders. Another big thing that steered me away was the wallpaper. I've had to replace my Pantech Duo 3 times in the past three months. Once I am eligible for an upgrade, I'm getting the Tilt. No one should buy the Pantech, it MAY look nice, but in all actuality, it's really not worth it. It's slow and has a hard time reading larger than normal files. It's a fail-phone.

although one thing on th tilt that needs to be fixed is that when u tap on your screen to go to your messages it is vvery slow at times...that is only if you dont have any unread messages.
i have the tilt and i would much rather keep it than trade it in for the pantech. if you continuously slide the keyboard up and down the screen WILL freeze, but not on the tilt. I know the tilt is a little big and heavy but i like it cuz it helps me know that my fone is still in my pocket.

switch your homescreen to Large Font and it will go much faster. Also, you can go to start > settings > IPM Power Mode > Turbo Mode

i have the duo. i like it and all.. but not as impressed as i expected to be. its funny.. i think it takes forever for the screen to rotate, but i guess compared to others is fast. i know someone who returned this phone for the BJII

im getting a new phone and i thought i fell in love with the duo. but now everyones saying its not that good of a phone. me, i kind of like bulky, and i LOVE the dual slide. i just dont know though. is it really that bad???

great vids, but i got a question, Im 13, and i want a good phone to text and take pics with, and I have the enV from verizon, but we might switch to cingular, so i was wonderin if i should keep the env and verizon, or go to cingular and get the duo

i know same here i am looking for a new phone and when i saw the Duo i thought tha ti am getting it no matter what but everyody is saying that it is not a good phone i think i will just get like a 1 yr contract and if i dont like it than i will just get another one because my razr is like....OLD

hey guys the duo is also awesome i have a friend with the duo and i tried it its sweey it has awesome texting capabilities and music, camera, internet etc. I have a bb pearl right now but im sticking with the bb for now since changing to the duo is going to be a waste.

hey this is good video thx i was looking for the pantech duo. Right now, i have the blackberry pearl and i love it its really easy to text with and has pretty good music quality and video and camera is good too. Only thing that sucks with tghe bb pearl is that the headhone jack port is smaller than regulaer ones. Hey would you recommend me getting the duo when i change phones?

It has poor build quality and is bulky. That may be ok for you, but not for me (I'm picky).

lol thats funny. the build quality is bad? I went to the at&t store yesterday and checked it out. I guess some people can say it has a bad build quality and bulky. I really dont care for bulkyness so not including the build quality and bulkyness, would you say that the duo is a good phone?

As much as it pains me to not recommend a Windows Mobile phone - I'd say the Pearl. It's better quality, has a great interface, and is good for texting.
