Remember (maybe not, I don't know how old you are) but when Jon Knight left NKOTB and they broke up soon after because album sales and ticket sales were down? That's my point, it only works when they have 5 guys. It's the law of physics. ;-D

i hate that people have to keep fueding. :( i am 100% nkotb. i grew up on them and am a HUGE fan. i liked a lot of bsb songs. so, i was a fan of theirs too. just not overly crazy like i am about nkotb. i got tix for this past june so i could see nkotb. but after seeing bsb with them and how awesome they are too, this is a dream concert! and i wouldnt have wanted anyone else to be there with nkotb! it was the best concert and would love to see it happen again. just saying. :)

I am just so sick of the fighting back and forth between the fans. I don't know why we can't just get along. @laurina949 Didn't you go to NK concert last yr? Their production was way smaller than the ones in 08, and 09. My sister is a hardcore NK fan, went to their Vegas show but got very disappointed. There was nothing much going on w/ NK last yr except a short summer tour (only 2 month actuallys) and a cruise. They even had cancel their shows in Florida and the whole Australian tour in 09 due to the poor ticket sales.
So don't act NK is better than BSB cos they're OBVIOUSLY NOT!

BSB fans complain the mixing of this version is bad, NKOTB fans find the BSBversion too slow. Both are right though. I like the speed up the tempo but the instruments of this version are too loud. But overall, it's still good, better than the auto tuned DTOTL. Hope they perform this song on Today's Show on June 3rd.

Here's the thing here, peeps. If you don't care for the NKOTBSB version of the song, or the whole supergroup altogether, there's no need to watch/listen to anything the bands do--there's no point. New Kids and Backstreet have teamed up, and like it or not, the songs and performances onstage is going to happen. It's not the end of the world; just don't listen it.

HowieMistress Couldn't agree with you more, especially for BSB fans who don't like this collaboration. There's a BSB cruise and a new album the end of this year so they should skip this and save the money for the cruise and their new ablum or better yet support Nick's new album (he also has solo tour). There are a lot activities for BSB fans this year, don't need to be worked up abt this.
been a BSB fan since 1996. Always have and always will be.. I absolutely love them. NKOTB I knew a bit here and ther but I really got to know their songs through NKOTBSB. They are really talented as well and ALL 9 GUYS SOUND AMAZING TOGETHER!!!!!

Donnie sings "I gotta say" and AJ sings: "so tell me baby" then Donnie again "Somewhere down the road" Then AJ again with: "You think you lost it all" Then after the chorus comes Nick. Then Joey. After the chorus again, AJ sings a verse, then Donnie, then Howie. Then chorus again. And i believe Jordan ends it. Kinda confusing, but follow the song with my description and you'll get it :)
@ComedyDownpour I would say On without you and Fallen Angel. And what I think of NKOTBSB is that I get to see BSB probably 50% less on stage but still pay full price. I LOVE my boys! I'd rather just have them... in any way possible but if I have to take them with NKOTB, then so be it. I would have prefered Boys II Men and hear them sing a duet with "End of the road" but thats just me. =)
The intro is bad, the mixing is bad, the little lullaby kiddie-synths in the chorus, are bad. It's pretty bad and i've been a fan for a very long time, but im about to quit supporting these fools. What the HELL are they doing, teaming up with NKOTB? They're even more of a joke than BSB have become...and its because of obviously poor decisions like this 'supergroup' thing. Just awful.

@laurina949 Your SO right! NKOTB sell out HUGE venues and arenas in minutes. BSB have not done really anything at all in YEARS! I love both groups but NKOTB is hands down the best and always will be. No matter what. They are the original. They paved the way for BSB.

BSB fans complain the mixing of this version is bad, NKOTB fans find the BSBversion too slow. Both are right though. I like the speed up the tempo but the instruments of this version are too loud. But overall, it's still good, better than the auto tuned DTOTL. Hope they perform this song on Today's Show on June 3rd.

never realy was a nkotb fan but this them teaming up makes me kinda like them bsb is still my all time fav band never forget seeing them as a kid the last concert of the black and blue tour befor they split for a few years...beging my feoncey to buy me tickets even if they are over 100 dollors each..last time i went to a concert for bsb it wasnt that much lol.but its worth it never got to see them on there last tour

Here's the thing here, peeps. If you don't care for the NKOTBSB version of the song, or the whole supergroup altogether, there's no need to watch/listen to anything the bands do--there's no point. New Kids and Backstreet have teamed up, and like it or not, the songs and performances onstage is going to happen. It's not the end of the world; just don't listen it.

HowieMistress Couldn't agree with you more, especially for BSB fans who don't like this collaboration. There's a BSB cruise and a new album the end of this year so they should skip this and save the money for the cruise and their new ablum or better yet support Nick's new album (he also has solo tour). There are a lot activities for BSB fans this year, don't need to be worked up abt this.

been a BSB fan since 1996. Always have and always will be.. I absolutely love them. NKOTB I knew a bit here and ther but I really got to know their songs through NKOTBSB. They are really talented as well and ALL 9 GUYS SOUND AMAZING TOGETHER!!!!!

all i have to say is i think this song sounds great, im reading that lots of BSB or NKOTB fans are getting defensive about the collaboration, but they are both really great groups. i have loved BSB for a while but now i LOVE NKOTB as well. no need to get defensive about who sounds better cause they both have 2 different sounds #justsaying

I like Dont Turn Out the Lights, but this one is alittle boring. I just got tickets for my bday, so I'm super excited. However, I must say I was disappointed with joint album. I thought that they were gonna release new recordings of the songs. I think they sound alot better now then in the past.

Donnie sings "I gotta say" and AJ sings: "so tell me baby" then Donnie again "Somewhere down the road" Then AJ again with: "You think you lost it all" Then after the chorus comes Nick. Then Joey. After the chorus again, AJ sings a verse, then Donnie, then Howie. Then chorus again. And i believe Jordan ends it. Kinda confusing, but follow the song with my description and you'll get it :)

@ComedyDownpour I would say On without you and Fallen Angel. And what I think of NKOTBSB is that I get to see BSB probably 50% less on stage but still pay full price. I LOVE my boys! I'd rather just have them... in any way possible but if I have to take them with NKOTB, then so be it. I would have prefered Boys II Men and hear them sing a duet with "End of the road" but thats just me. =)

The intro is bad, the mixing is bad, the little lullaby kiddie-synths in the chorus, are bad. It's pretty bad and i've been a fan for a very long time, but im about to quit supporting these fools. What the HELL are they doing, teaming up with NKOTB? They're even more of a joke than BSB have become...and its because of obviously poor decisions like this 'supergroup' thing. Just awful.

@HL2 Now, that's exactly what I said months ago about BSB teaming up with NKOTB. I didn't like it one bit, but somewhere down the line, I got over that funk and was thrilled about it. Sure, not everyone will like the collaboration (like you), but give them a break. There's no need in calling them fools and jokes because YOU don't like the collab.
