Anne Murray's brilliant vocals over so many decades has allowed her to record songs originally sung by other artists, and in doing so, her version of the song is almost always better! It makes no difference what she records! It's a combination of great arrangements, perfect contralto pitch, perfect diction, AND perfect vocal timber. Anne, please come out of retirement and visit your fans in the USA, and around the world!

Anne Murray sings this GREAT old George Jones Hit as well, if not better than the many Singers that have covered it. I had it on an ancient 8 Track called ANNE MURRAY COUNTRY, it was produced in 1973. Can anyone out there tell me whether or not it's available on CD, or if they have the Record Album. Thanx.
