I am really disappointed in the new ace combat. Everything about Ace Combat. The mystery behind the man you were flying, the story, the intrugiue and international warfare all lost in the last installment. This game was the last of a great series. Even Ace combat 6 had these same problems. Its so sad. Thumbs this up if you want to return to the feel of these games, rather than the call of duty type shit in the recent installments.

i know AC5 had better gameplay and more complicated missions, but the storyline in Zero truly owns AC5, cause, you never get to meet Blaze, you want to know what he was like, and in Zero they filled all the empty spaces, in the end of Zero i felt like i didnt need to know who Cipher was cause Pixy and all the other pilots already talked about him

i also love how everything is told through someone elses perspective, never Ciphers, cause Cipher is never shown, so is realistic in storyline telling

Ace Combat is a great arcade game, not a realistic flight simulator. IF you want a real flight simulator, play over-g fighters. Ace Combat is fun as hell, but it isn't a flight simulator.

Razgriz was cool and all, but the Razgriz didn't face enemy aces like the ones Cipher and Pixy fought against in the Belkan War. Three big pilots in AC5 were shot down in the Round Table, where Cipher got his badass nickname as the Demon Lord of the Roundtable. I say Razgriz is overrated. Mobius (AC4) and Cipher are the shit... And Garuda 1 is just lame.

We came at each other. Firing missiles but we both missed. I couldn't get a good lock on him. A few more close calls happened. I was frustrated that I hadn't shot him down yet. I was even more frustrated that my enemy was an old friend, but I knew I had to shoot him down.

Then we came at each other again. I was down to my last 2 missiles. And luckily that was all it took, getting a lock I fired and shot him down.
