@vadermask Yes, there is Father Philaret at St.Anthony's Monastery. He is a deacon and also works at the monastery bookstore, helping people to find and buy books and other things. He is wonderful.

@SlavaBoguVoveki Yeah right now I'm reading Monastic Wisdom: Elder Joseph the Hesychast. Awesome stuff!!! I love anything to do with Mount Athos. I wish there were more books in English related to Mount Athos. I like reading monks diaries, journals, stories, etc. Day-to-day life on the holy mountain.

What a beautiful place. There are people working themselves to death into an early grave with stress and a heart attack to own and live in a big beautiful mansion. Jesus says first seek the kingdom of God and everything will be added to you. what a stress free peaceful saying and fact that is.
