This is the saddest and happiest moment of my Virginia Tech experience... sadness because of the magnitude of the loss, but also the happiest because of the incredible bond shown by HokieNation as we all gather in Lane Stadium to watch the symbolic healing through the releasing of the balloons. neVer forgeT 4/16/07 and we WILL prevail because we are Virginia Tech...
Free inexhaustible energy is real! But the coverup is very strong,Get the blueprints for a real Magnet motor free enegy machine at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,The revolution begins!
I attended this game while I was a graduate student at Virginia Tech. One thing that is not mentioned nearly enough are the schools that helped us through this horrific time. Not just through donation, but through signs, collages, prayer, or just a simple embrace to students who were in dire need of hope. Our prayers will always go to the victims families, we will always remembered those lost, and we thank all of the universities that are still there for us to this day.
why does ESPN never crank up the volume on enter sandman? and haha that flag guy with the H must have been sooo hyped up, he was easily running 30 yards in front of the O! X D
This WAS a great moment, a critical step in VT's healing process.
On a lighter note, I couldn't help but look at ESPN's scroll of upcoming games and see #5 Michigan vs App State...nobody would have guessed how that would turn out!
my mom cried at this. my sister was a senior at vt at the time of the shooting and she was able to get us tickets into the game. you were right this wasnt about who won and who lost. it was about how after a tragedy people came together as one. lets go hokies.
i watched that that game on the tube and when i heard the music and the saw the vid i cried i'll admit it rip the folks who lost thier lives in the shooting
I am an ECU fan and I was in attendance that day and I will certainly never forget it. I am not ashamed to admit I was crying during this video. I wish ECU could have pulled out the victory, but it was a day that will be remember by all who were lucky enough to be in attendance.
Coming from a diehard ECU fan, I will not forget the day the Hokies grew stronger in their resolve to overcome the tragedy of those 32 brothers and sisters lost. My brother is a current Hokie, and being a Pirate, watching him go through that, I will never forget the passion I saw in your faces that day. Great game. No one will ever forget. Go Pirates! Go Hokies!
I saw this. I am a purdue fan an i saw this. VTech rocks. Nice job bouncing back after catastrophe and good llook throughout your season. BOILER UP,HOKIE UP!
HOKIES ROCK! I WANNA BE A HOKIE 4 LIFE PERIOD! THAT IS THE BEST VIRGINIA TECH I'VE EVER SEEN! THIS HAD ME HOPPIN' OUT OF MY SEAT! ALL 32 HOKIES ARE IN GOD'S HANDS! you rock HOKIE4LYFE! WE WILL PREVAIL WE ARE VIRGINIA TECH!
