Cockatiel Bird Acting Goofy/Weird

My male 'Tiel does that too. I always thought it was some kind of 'game' he plays. Then again, he does the 'drumming' with his beak thing too. Maybe its typical of male 'Tiel behavior?

aw, my barney does that too! i just recently discovered he likes this several months back. it is not always, sometimes i try and he looks at me like "how dare you!" other times he gets really into it. the other night i went to cover hm, he had a little fuzzie feather on his nostril. i blew at it to remove it and he helped move it to get it to blow off. it got off him, but h helped by moving at certain angles and by not getting annoyed w me like he sometimes can lol. i love my barn so much!

Cockatiels love the wind under their wings. (^_^ ) But, when they fluff like that, they usually want something else. Whey they drop their tail feather, sprits them with a little bit of water. That will cool them off. (^_~ ) hahaha. I have a cockatiel named jacky who does exactly the same thing with a fan. (^_^ ) I've uploaded some vids of him (just search for "shlizaraxis" and you'll find them).

aww my little mans name is Kirby too :) hes new so hes not as wonderful as yours i adopted him from an unwanted home poor guy, my old tiels used to to that alot i think its a wind beneath the wings kinda thing :) btw shes a beauty
