i personally throw 1 hand and 2 handed balls... i throw 2 fingered curve using same line as this kid is with te 2 handed bowling and i throw 2 differnt 2 handed balls.one i throw my spare ball (plastic) stright over 2ed arrow and stand on center dot and the other i throw same mark as my 2 fingered.

yea thats why i switched, ive been bowling for 14 years now, ever since i was 2, and i was bowling 1 handed... ive gotten a bunch of 200. Then last year i switched to 2 handed and i got the same amount of 200 within that year.

WRW dominates when a straight shot is in play, but he can't play deep due to lack of revs, and even he is trying to add the 2 handed shot to his game.

Brian Valenta, Cassidy Schaub, Jason Belmonte, and Osku Palermaa are some other *great* bowlers (US Open finals, PBA World Championships, Team USA) who use a two handed release. Every great sport changes and grows. Take a deep breath and enjoy. But don't try to learn two handed if you've always thrown traditional style -- it's hard to learn!

I bowled like a traditional bowler for 3 years and averaged 195 i took my thumb out of the ball and averaged 220 overnight, but then Ive seen other people that couldnt quite adjust, people dont understand it and a lot of them are jealous because they cant get half the revs jason belmonte or ANY other 2 hander gets.
that may be true about some of them being jealous about the revs but bowling is not all about power and revs. its the people who can combine power accuracy and smarts who become the best players in the world
very true. BUT when you apply this much power it helps you be less acurate, but those guys like belmonte and osku are very solid and can hit there target lots of times, are they as accurate as a norm duke or walter ray? hell no but they dont need to be.
u will definitely find that any successful 2 hander (im talking about pba and hard conditions) are extremely accurate. their added power gives them the light carry and gets rid of the weak 10 pins. but that power can really hurt you too after a while the lanes dry up and there is a time where you cant move any farther left

I've been a 2 handed bowler my whole life and it's worked out well, my average is between 230-245 depending on the lanes and I finished 2nd at the TAT Open Championship.

Tell that to this 10 year old who bowled a certified 300 using a two handed style! Brian Valenta, Cassidy Schaub, Jason Belmonte, and Osku Palermaa are some other *great* bowlers (US Open finals, PBA World Championships, Team USA) who use a two handed release. Every great sport changes and grows. Take a deep breath and enjoy. But don't try to learn two handed if you've always thrown traditional style -- it's hard to learn!

very true... I bowled like a traditional bowler for 3 years and averaged 195 i took my thumb out of the ball and averaged 220 overnight, but then Ive seen other people that couldnt quite adjust, people dont understand it and a lot of them are jealous because they cant get half the revs jason belmonte or ANY other 2 hander gets.

that may be true about some of them being jealous about the revs but bowling is not all about power and revs. its the people who can combine power accuracy and smarts who become the best players in the world

very true. BUT when you apply this much power it helps you be less acurate, but those guys like belmonte and osku are very solid and can hit there target lots of times, are they as accurate as a norm duke or walter ray? hell no but they dont need to be.

u will definitely find that any successful 2 hander (im talking about pba and hard conditions) are extremely accurate. their added power gives them the light carry and gets rid of the weak 10 pins. but that power can really hurt you too after a while the lanes dry up and there is a time where you cant move any farther left
