The first time the song was performed live by any of The Beatles was on 2 December 2009, when McCartney played the song in Hamburg, Germany on the first night of a European tour.
@PsychadelicElephant I've been privliged to see Paul live twice, once from 8th row center... I also saw The Beatles in person in 1964, they walked right past me at the Pittsburgh airport ( my dad had a security pass) ... we wont see their kind again.
With all due respect to John Lennon, Paul is the only Beatle who carries on even at old age, representing Beatles. The greatest and most successful single artist of all time. Paul McCartney a legendary man.
Well, this is probably going to change very soon due to the poor confused people who don't know good music, but right now this is the first time I've seen a video with well over 10,000 views not have even one dislike. :D
wow 68 years old and over 30 years of playing and still this man still has it in him to still perform. This is the most amazing music player in the UNIVERSE
@Forestthunder I've never even heard of some of those people -_- and I don't care if they're "better bass players" I don't like Paul because of his bass. I like him because of his pure talent (all around musically) and the fact that in his lifetime he's accomplished more than any of the people you just listed. -_-
@jpmccsgirl Well that's just not true at all. Check out how much Paul Chambers accomplished (bass player for Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, John Coltrane, etc.)
@Freakzone550 Actually this was only the 24th song in the setlist, he played a lot of Beatles songs before this, like All My Loving, Blackbird, Two Of Us, I'm Looking Through You, The Long And Winding Road and others. But yeah, the atmosphere during this song was amazing :)

I agree. I think Abe Laboriel Jr, and Steve Ferrone, are the two most over rated drummers out there.
with Abe, Im sure his dad, Abe senior helped him with his career. As for Steve. Who knows ?

ah, i might like it in this different key more than the original. at least from a playing the song with easier position stand point.
