  • PLEASE!!! do the blx team review!!! =)

  • LIke if you want to order this racket do you have to string it urself or can you order pre-strung from tennis warehouse

  • @congoline1

You can have it strung when you purchase it. We do not charge to string it, but you'll have to pay for whatever string you'd like in it (unless it's the one free string option we have).

  • @tenniswarehouse Thank you so much.

  • How would you guys rate the spin potential of these rackets? Currently I play with some old 6.1's...but I wouldn't mind dropping the weight just a tad when I start thinking about getting some new ones. The weight specs look just right but I am concerned about the 18x20 pattern. Spin is pretty important to me for my forehand. Would you recommend just updating to the new 6.1s or trying this one out?

  • @bobomber,

Definitely try this one out. Although it has a tight string pattern, I found it easy to generate lots of spin. It is so easy to accelerate through the strike zone, that spin comes easily. Despite string pattern and other variables, the simple fact is, the faster you swing, then more spin you can generate. Racquet head speed plus angle of attack = maximum spin.

  • Can anyone guide me. I have bought this racquet and realized the low power is not helping. Some suggestions came; INCREASE HEAD WT THRU LEAD TAPE, LOW TENSION (dont know how low), or use a punchy strings(not wilson). . i ll b thankful if someone can help me. Thanks.

  • @mastermindfederer,

String between 45-52lbs to up the power level. Try a multifialament like Tecnifibre X-One Biphase or a natural gut for powerful string options. Adding weight to the head will add power, but made the racquet harder to swing, so add small amounts at a time until you feel comfortable with the weight/power level.

    Chris, TW

  • @tenniswarehouse Will i have to compromise on CONTROL, by putting 52 pounds?

  • @mastermindfederer,

Yes. Pretty much anytime you are increasing power, you will have to adjust for control.

    Chris, TW

  • I should buy this racket . It has the colours of my favourite team <3

  • Hey I heard that this racquet is being discontinued. Is this true because I would really like to get it but if Wilson is coming out with a new model I would rather wait.

  • @mrojas955 Not that we are aware of. We have plenty in stock.

    Jason, TW

  • @tenniswarehouse The smaller the headsize, the bigger (or smaller?) is the sweet spot? ?

    Thanks.

  • @dudekashif Typically, the smaller the headsize, the smaller the sweetspot.

    Jason, TW

  • @tenniswarehouse Which means the larger the headsize, the larger the sweetspot??? how is this possible sir. I mean sweetspot is what we look for. and if that is the case, one would go for 110 size....????? plz elaborate ..thanks

  • @dudekashif Sweetspot is proportional to the headsize, so yes, a larger headsize would mean a larger sweetspot. The way racquets are designed and made, racquets with 110+ sq. in. headsizes will also mean they are lighter and more head heavy. The idea being, if you are advanced player, you're no longer looking for a racquet with the biggest sweetspot, rather, something with some weight and control.

    Jason, TW

  • @tenniswarehouse Thanks.

  • what is the difference between this racket and the blx pro open? someone plz answer, thank u.

  • @JnewO The Pro Tour BLX is more control oriented. It is heavier and will provide more control and less power than the BLX Pro Open. The Pro Open will also give you more spin. Demo both to see which is better for your game!

    Jason, TW

  • You guys are very lucky as you get to play with all different racquets lol. I will die for a job like that

  • @112khanh The Prince EXO3 Graphite 100 will give you more power than the Pro Tour BLX. It just depends on what you want. Best way to figure it out is to demo both racquets. We have both available in our demo program. Give us a call! 800-883--6647. Or do it yourself on our website.

  • hi tenniswarehouse i was wondering witch racket is lighter the aeropro drive gt or the wilson blx pro open because i have been using my friends aeropro for a while and it has been a bit sluggish on me so i was wondering

  • @MasterLucario85

The Wilson BLX Pro Open is both lighter in static weight, as well as swingweight. For more information on specs, click on the "specifications" tab on the desired racquet page.

    Spencer, TW.

  • "if del potro can play w it, i am sure you can play it too"....Lmfao at the stupid comment. tell your son if obama can be president, i am sure u can b the president too son

  • I want to ask if I want a racquet with great serve (I am a weak server) and lightweight but head-heavy. Which racquet should I get?

  • should i take this or the babolat pure drive roddick gt?I'm 14 and I'm more of an offensive player .

  • @raduudreakk Both are similar in spec, but I'd say the Pure Drive Roddick would better suit you. It has a slightly larger headsize and is more powerful. I recommend you demo both before you make a final decision.

    Jason, TW

  • this man's don't know play

  • what rackets do chris and spencer use

  • @shaneggg Chris is currently using the Volkl Powerbridge 10 Mid. Spencer recently switched to the Prince EXO3 Tour 100.

    Jason, TW

  • this isnt the rackett of juan marin del potro everybody is sayin it but he is still using the old kfactor

  • @shaneggg I know it's weird. He may have switched back is all i can think of

  • gold yellow and black ???? lol

  • Do you think this racket is good for me I'm 15. I'm ranked 14 in the nation in 16s . Therefore Wilson its trying to give me a sponsorship . Do you think this racket is right for me? I have a huge serve, I swing big on both sides and i transition to the net alot on approach shots. I am i attacking player. Is this right for me?

  • @eew64059,

It definitely sounds like this racquet would be a good fit for your game. If Wilson are looking to sponsor you, then they should be willing to send you a few different racquets to demo so you can try different models. Also, you can use our demo system to try up to 4 different racquets and you only pay shipping.

    Chris, TW

  • @eew64059 i would sugest i control racket because u already ar vry good and a big hitter so ur gonna want control so u can place ur power shoots

  • can you guys please do BLX 16x19 pro tour :D thanks! 355 grams!

  • can you guys please do BLX 16x19 pro tour :D thanks!

  • lol is he serieus when he says: the 18x20 pattern gives me more power.........No its should be: this racket gives me more control so i can put more body behind the bal and dont have to be afraid that the ball goes out. :)

    (srry for my bad English)

  • what racket specs would you recommend to a person who likes to hit flat, adds spin at times and has a one handed backhand? and what racket would u recommend specifically?

  • @TennisFreak845,

This racquet would be a great starting point. It is maneuverable, offers a really nice blend of power and control and with the tight string pattern, the ball isn't going to fly on you when hitting flat. That maneuverable response will also help you find some added spin when you want as it will help you generate lots of racquet head speed -- the faster you swing, the faster you can spin the ball.

    Chris, TW

  • @TennisFreak845 well i play with the blx pro tour and i hit flat as well and i have a 1 hand backhand and i love it i own 4 of them i love it the ball allways goes in its like a babolt prodrive gt with 100 times more spin its the best racket ever

that or the wilson blx 6.1 tour the 1 fed plays with i played with that two for 5 months but its ever heard to play with when outside and theres wind so ya i hope i helped

  • with this raquet you don't even have to hit the ball and you become a pro.

  • @TommyTom1394,

I fail to see what is sloppy about stepping in, taking the ball on the rise and driving it back deep with a compact swing? It is a minimalistic swing with absolutely no extraneous movement and looks to be the exact opposite of sloppy to me. Gran has a classic stroke that is very different to the modern style of play, but his technique is far from sloppy.

    Chris, TW

  • @tenniswarehouse sorry bro i'll be more careful

  • Don't forget to swing!

  • Waaaaay better than the tennisexpress review video of this racquet

  • why do they like leather grips? Synth feels so much better and more grip.

  • just curious, do you guys get most of your sales from demos?

  • can we get a review of the pro open as well?

  • Is Troy using a straight arm forehand?

  • Why don't you have any big hitting play testers? There are at least 2 at ever decent club, surely you could find one.

  • @dodododa they have Sean but he appears rarely
