They are a little like Gothminister just gothminister is more metal than Icon. Icon is also a little more on the electronic side. You would call this music Electronic Goth Music I suppose.

I like Icon Of Coil better than Combichrist. Icon of Coil is personal and beautiful, whereas Combichrist though good, is more of an innocently evil not serious kind of thing.

yeah, I love combichrist for its in your face attitude, and I love Icon for their deeper personal themes, and Panzer AG is just a whole lot of fun to listen to :)

Andy is so brilliant in the way that he can create 3 so diverse bands :)

Combichrist is great, dont get me wrong here. I love that band, but I will always be a fan of icon of coil too. I think to many industrial or ebm fans are too stuck on the new stuff to remember what started it in the first place. All in all though, ebm is getting over done, you have 8 million ebm bands all sounding the same mostly. Ebm is a fad, TRUE industrial will never die. Love the combichrist and icon tho :)

In response to GothicBarbieCat- Check out his current band Combichrist live...omfg, amazing live. I had the same complaint and he pulled through with this band. I didn't know anything about these guys except that they were touring with KMFDM and Combichrist's performance blew them entirely out of the water. Seriously and honestly- my favorite live show EVER.

I've seen IOC live 3 times. That's just Andy. He likes to change it up and keep it different live. More artists shoudl follow his lead. Combichrist live in no exception.
