  • I wish one day they would buy a few retro 747's and put them on the long haul route and aer lingus is one of the best airlines sure continental has cheap flights but you have no room and the planes feel like they could stall or break at any moment.

  • great airline proud of them always fly them as much as i can cabin staff great hopefully they stay that way

  • @mitsubishe baa runs T5 not ba you retard

  • aer lingus with its safety record is A+

  • Aer lingus is one or the best airline in the world, one day, I hope to fly with the pride of Ireland. I feel proud to be irish now,and on the BA topic, whos laughing now!!!! Aer lingus all the way. DO YOU EVER HEAR THAT SOUND ON LANDING IN A RYAN AIR PLANE,THAT WRATTLE?, ITS A DEATH WISH!

    FLY AERLINGUS

  • DERMOT MANNION IS A WANKER (from DUB)

  • Hell yea, I love being Irish(American but name is Riley....)Yay!!

    FLY AERLINGUS

  • aer lingus is the pride and joy of ireland its our best airline so we could fight about who's airline is better but aer lingus is way better than ba yes we dont fly to hong kong or astralia but we do fly with pride and thats wat counts :)

  • What ever , you obviousy dont know much abouy aviation.

But im still surprised that you arent the smallist bit proud of Irish international companys?

  • I suppose their service deteriorated in the last few years but I wouldnt call it crap!

  • their service has deteriorated but is still good when compared with a lot of the British and American airlines

  • Yes, for example United Airlines flying from belfast and heathrow!

  • Any time i've flown with them the crew have always been friendly but like any company or airline some can be obnoxious. However Continental only fly shitty little worn-out Boeing 757s on this route. Plus i'd feel safer on Aer Lingus transatlantic than any US airline.

  • There not crap - I suppose you work for BA

  • Aer Lingus are a far better airline than BA, far more people orientated and down to earth than BA, and it's crew are simply fantatsic. Get it right revdec!

  • Sell out to BA - did you see last night's dispatches programme about "The trouble with British Airways" on Channel 4. Some of the things they've done to their customers is shocking.

  • no didn't catch it i seen it in the tv guide but forgot all bou it i didn't think ba was to bad. my country's airline ryanair the things they do wit there staff is against the law i flown with them a number of times and most time the plane is filty they only clean the planes in the morning they say if the plane isn't in the sky its not makin money so tats why the dont clean the planes.but aer lingus is the pride of ireland the servies is great well so long :)

  • you basterd aer lingus is our pride if u dont like them then fuck off to england and fly ba aer lingus staff are the nicest staff u'll ever get they do more than ryanair staff

  • @revdec fly on a cramped 757 or a330 easy choice

  • @revdec id rather swim than be crammed in a 757 across the pond no thanks

  • I fly often to JFK and last Nov to LAX from DUB and have never got a seat IFE no matter how much I keep saying please, please, please as I walk down the ramp, The A330 is a stunning beautiful plane outside but EIs are dire inside mind numbing grey and the same bloody Lasange for 10 years and you either get amazing friendly staff onboard who are so helpful or you get ones that barely look at you and sit and do their nails but God help me I still like flying Aer Lingus. PS Belfast-HRW service is A1

  • Excellent job ! Take me home !

  • Yeah i hate him a Chief Executive i wonder why he left the world's fastest growing airline (Emirates) to work for Aer Lingus.

However I dont know why they employ people in catering when all European catering is contracted out and the transatlantic catering is just dire.

I do think people will have to lose their jobs if Aer Lingus wants to stay afloat

  • You'll see the other side of Mr Mannion next week when he tears up the working contracts of staff some of whom have 30 years of service. Staff have no interest in the celebrating 50yrs while worrying about how to pay feed their children in the future.

  • Don't particularly like him either or what he is doing the former national carrier. Unfortunately it's a PLC now but hopefully the workers' jobs will be secure - i mean an airline can't function if it looses that amount of staff.

  • We'll hold our breath and wait for the announcement on tuesday. Anyways good video and excellent choice of song! Heard the song on the car -radio last night. Made me think of the your video.
