I don't get the reasoning behind putting small engines in heavy vehicles. To get anywhere the engine has to rev high and burn more fuel. The Pilot would do wonders with a V8.

Parents have that car. Same color but Beige interior. Only complaint i would have is the engine. Its good and decent does the job but a V8 would just be way better. Might even improve fuel economy since it wont have to work as hard to haul such a big car. But none the less its a real good car, and besides oil changes the car never needs to be maintenance. Oh and the trunk is real small with all three rows up. Not a lot of luggage fits but lots of front leg space and back first back row space

reliability isnt everything in a car. If you take care of your car, then it will last. GM cars are some of the most reliable out there. Not as reliable as a honda, but not as butt-ugly as a honda

I always considered Hondas to be nice cars ever since the boxy ones from the early 90s. But the Pilot has always been this bland brick with no styling at all. I don't know why that is either. Its a class of vehicle that has alot of stylish competitors too like the Traverse, Explorer, CX9, and Durango. Even the facelifted Highlander looks nicer. It's almost as if the design department just didn't care when they did it.

i feel that the older gen pilot was much more attractive looking. this new one looks more boxy, industrial and kind of reminds me of the interior of a work vehicle, like a Ford E-series van. The 2007 and newer Acura MDXs, however, are another story lol :D. I hope you can review some newer Acuras; they've definitely gotten more advanced over the years. Maybe not BMW-advanced, but advanced nevertheless.. and still reliable!
