In my opinion, if you want good storyline, some sci fi stuff in it and a little bit of drama ( I don't know if there is any :p), pick Ace Combat. If you want a little bit of realism, or want to play Ace Combat but couldn't afford a XBOX360, pick HAWX.

are you serious? i've played ace combat since ac2 and that was atleast 10years ago. i still follow the game but saying that AC is any different is plain biased. i rate ace combat A+++. the only difference is the afterburner and landing for missiles /repairs. hawx is an ace combat clone. btw, ace combat is a shooter not a simulator. you cant do gturns with ease and airdams can get clogged with debris from a kill. >>> and crash

the flying is less realistic in the game u may be able to do more moves but the flying does not recreate the real thing in any way i have played ace combat since the first one 2 and since theyhave realesed 6 i think that it i smuch more realistic than H.A.W.X

go download freefalcon 5.0 it is light flight simulator but u fly an f-16 and dog fight. u also get to land and take off. go search it on google. i downlaoded it myself but i dont know how to take off..

It IS one of the hardest things on the planet. You need to be EXTREMELY Intelligent, which you are obviously not, and VERY Physically fit. DO NOT try and make people believe you have the mental capacity, physical strength, or moral strength that a fighter pilot does. I think it's great if you WANT to be one, but do not try and make people believe that you already are one, when it is quite obvious that you are not. If you want an easy fighter pilot position, you might want to look at the following Air Forces; Egypt(famous for pilots who try to land on runways with craters in the middle of them), China, Iran, Venezuela, Vietnam, Cambodia, you get my point. With your credentials, you might want to try and go for those guys. ;)

Last time I checked, to be a Fighter Pilot, You must enroll as a Officer in the AirForce, which would mean you having you finish University--- In the way you are insulting and trying to give valid evidence on how you are a pilot, it shows you are still in the K-10 education level.

@MrAlanify miles per hour are 1.7 if i remember correctly for a knot, ils approach is Instrument Landing System it basically guides the plane to the runway for landing in low vis, i dont quite know the f-22's landing speed i know the f-18's is 145 roughly so ill say 165, now im not a real pilot but i plan on joining the air force and going from there when im 18 :)

Jesus! Have you ever seen a real combat plane in action. These moves are definitely hard but none of them is impossible. Every move in the game can be done in reality, too. You need only a good a plane and an even better pilot.

It always makes me laugh to read these comments. Tom Clancy games always are great with a twist that makes it greater. In hawx, you have a fast paced FIGHTER GAME NOT FLIGHT SIM with the computer assistance off as the twist, allowing better manuevering. If you whine about cockpit view or it being unrealistic, join the crowd and play your boring games while we enjoy this one
