very good. i learned something from this. i am new to bagua and study the jiang rong jiao original form. i see many similarities and many differences. very good, clean ,smooth demo.
do you use different footwork ie; mud step, crane, snake, or does this style utilize just one stepping method??
That move is called different things in different styles. Some call it the "snake descends the tree." Here it is often referred to as the "snake slithers through the hole" or "snake through the hole."
A wonderful video demonstration of Bagua Zang in English. If you're a beginner, the last thing you want to do is work on translation. You can do translation later in your career. The video looks like fun to learn.
That would be his #8 palm change. He called it Whirlwind Palms but also mentioned the name Eight Immortals Cross the Sea as an alternate. I will probably get to that in a few months. Thanks

Is there a animal form/ name for the pose you did at exactly 2.25 to 2.27? the super low stance. I've seen it in many movies, so i'm curious :)

The stance itself is often called a "Drop Stance" in English. It's Chinese (Mandarin) name is "Pu Bu".
Only referring to the stance, not the hand movement or the movement as a whole.

The way you demonstrate these palm changes is amazing. However, are there more that to come, or have you finished with demonstrating the palms?
