A great show of pushing the S2000 here. As a 10+ year Honda builder and shop owner I certainly appreciate what the S2000 brings to the table. On the other hand, as a 2002 Z06 owner I can tell you the Z06 is a superior car with an equal driver capability. Nurburgring times have been tallied for both cars and the Z06 is a superior car. With that said though, the S2000 does amazing things as a vert car, and with 2.0 liters. Both are worth owning and I'm buyin my wife one next wk!

@nzk20a Honda fanboy in the house. Once you mature past that close-minded stage of your life, you may be able to recognize and appreciate different types of cars for their inherent advantages. The C5 Z06 laps the Nurburgring on par with Ferrari F430s and 996 turbos. There's a bit more engineering involved in that car than adding displacement. It's just rare to find someone who has the skill to drive it at 10/10ths.

I passed many stronger cars and have been passed by Miatas and Elises in tight courses. Veyron can beat just about any production cars in drag racing but there are many faster cars on the Ring. As the owners of a 2002 (me) and 2005 (the wife) S2k, its hard to believe this little car is such a blast to drive. The harder you drive it the better the car gets. Its so precise, tactile yet docile at the same time. Sure its not overpowered but thats not its purpose. Great car that Ill never get rid of. The revs, the shifter, the chassis, the steering, it all works so seemlessly to deliver a truly unique driving experience that no other roadster in its price range can offer.
Ive had one for 2 months the car is great mine is a 03 and I have owned a 92 nsx as well, it actually is sharper in handling than the nsx and acceleration is not that far off from it either, I like one thing more for sure and thats that it does not need a timing belt!

Thanks. But I did beat the Vette? I passed him at the end...lol. I got held up by the BMW going into the corner, and didn't get a point by until after the corner. Anyways the Vettes a fun car, and I'd love one myself. You don't have to hate one car b/c you like the other...you're allowed to like both, lol.
