Very cute birds. My brother has one and I got to bird-sit for him and I taught his bird to wave with its claw and say "hi". These are obviously very smart, self-aware birds.

I think it's actually called the "Imperial March" or some such thing, it's actually the main theme for "The Empire Strikes Back". No I'm not a Star Wars junkie, but the musical score for that movie was so well done, thanks to John Williams, but any musical score from back then is well done compared to now. I think if you play it back for the little guys enough they will actually get it.

How the hell do you get them to do that? I find it incredible... they were on the bed for at least a minute and didnt crap once!

You're never going to believe this but they are actually potty trained to some extent.  Cockatiels usually have to poop every 10 minutes or so, so I trained them to hold it in until I put them back in their cage and then they poop on command. I make sure to put them back in their cage every 15-20 min or so, and then reward them for pooping in their cage and take them back out. Sounds crazy I know, but If you really want to know how i did it send me a message.

@sahree rofl I cannot tell you how much poop i've had on the carpet, couch, bed, pillows, my PLAY STATION, my HAIR, my hands, the counters, the tables, etc. Man...must've been nice to think of something like that. xD

their wings are moderately long. my birds do fly when they want to actually. in this video they are on my bed. see the cages behind them? they love to fly from my bed onto their cage.

give him time. my bird (the especially noisy one in the video) didn't start singing until he was 5 or 6 months old. play music, sing to him, whistle to him, and he'll start to sing.

I do have a great secret! I bought this mirror/food dish from Petco that you can program to record anything- and it is motion sensored so when your bird goes in front of it to eat or look at himself, it goes off! It took him about 2 1/2 weeks to learn this one.
