@ideasforfeeling how do you know your thoughts control your body, lmfao.. your thoughts are as spontaneous as the movements of the body. You don't choose your thoughts. Otherwise you would choose happy thoughts or no thoughts if you're into this.
Reading the fantastic Book "The Yoga Sutras" from Patangali , so super well translated by Rupert Isherwood, and all that seems almost a century backwards when these subjects where discussed day and night by all kind of clubs like Madame Blavatsky's Theosofical Society - , here is some info on the MIND - I wrote already siome in part 2 film here
AHANKAR : spelling depends on Indian Dialect or Sanskrit interpretation :
Hi lollolllolllll You go to my site - hear me a simple pianoplayer - next go Rupert - If he plays too : compare the styles If he plays Jazz , then read my comments or see ( yes that s a good one) my favorite BOOKS or listen to my divine song SHANDORa That's a lot of help isn't it ------- HâHâ
It is impossible to experience the fan as 'over there'. My experience of it has to be going on in me.

AHANKAR is the Mind's faculty to separate Self and Self Interest from all other thoughts / things.
The "I-ness"
When this faculty is exaggerated it creates PROUD , VANITY . non empathy
It's powerful and easily can take over all other 3 aspects of the Mind.
Seems wwe need inventing the wheel again on YT.

Every one read Patanjali !!!
I have never seen in my >80 year life a sharper analysis of the MIND.
