I love this version of the song. Maybe it's me but that whole Alanis Morrisette interlude only pulls away from the emotion of the song in my opinion. The song by itself has a timeless message and Beyonce delivers flawlessly when she's stripped down to the essentials and true to her craft, which is singing songs like this that are about stuff that happens to everyone and is yet specific to each listener.
