  • Ohhh never saw this one...thanks for sharing!

  • he used to be handsome. now it looks like somebody melted his face over a hot stove

  • @5hinkuro Considering he's 65 now he's in great shape...and if you hadn't of noticed, with age your skin wrinkles so what exactly did you expect? 30 year old looking 65 year old?

  • @Shaadeedaa no. sly took steroids, and also underwent plastic surgery, both of which have led to his current facial appearance. if you think that's natural development of "skin wrinkles", then quite frankly you're a dumb fuck

  • @Shaadeedaa no. sly took steroids, and also underwent plastic surgery, both of which have led to his current facial appearance.

  • @5hinkuro Correct, but also remember the nerves in one half of his face don't function...for a 65 year old he looks great, say no more.

  • bill conti yeah the real music

  • thanks merci stallone

  • my fav stallone film after first blood and rocky 2

  • nostalgic piano, photos, memories,,, sylvester stallone 100%

    love this movie.

  • This film is dreadful but very enjoyable! I do think Stallone is a decent actor, anyone who can create a cinematic legend like Rocky must be talented. This film is hilarious at times though when it's meant to be dramatic. I almost passed out from laughing during the scene when Sly has Donald Sutherland strapped to the electric chair, the dialogue and the look on Don's face are just priceless.

They should have had Stallone do the little "Everything's okay" gesture at the end of the movie too. It woulda been a nice little wrap up. I still love this movie so much though!

  • Little-known fact: Stallone was the one who suggested Sutherland for the role of the sadistic warden. Turned out to be the right decision!

  • Did not know that and it was a good decision.

  • Underrated Sly Flick!

20 years ago, Summer of 89.

  • ain`t it the truth

  • Prison movies have a way of making you feel better about life.

  • @Terminator860

    Not if you're in prison!

  • @Terminator860 it sure does, i was watching this in prison. After watching this, i tried to escape, but big mistake. I got extra 10 yrs.

  • @southstar0511 damnnnnn

  • @MegaPitbull12 wouldn't fancy time in the US jails they hand out years like candy lol

  • @Terminator860 your words are so true...its exactly this feeling u get when u watch such a movie at night with your girl...

  • @Terminator860 u name it...

  • @Terminator860 Very true! Ever watched Shaw shank Redemption.. Trust me if you like this you will DEFFINENTLY like that! X

  • @Terminator860 that's one of the realest comment i seen on this site

  • @Terminator860 thats for 99% of people! i like prison i want to be in prison :s

  • @Terminator860 I do love prixion movies!

  • @Terminator860 U said it, Terminator. Prison movies (and documentaries) have raised me from a spoilt boy to a humble and thankful man.

  • @Terminator860 i think it's because of the whole, " Not being ass-raped " thing, probably...

  • Yowza!

    Hello there, Sly, haha

  • this movie is so sad plus the theme:(

  • Why was he even in prison? What was the charge?

  • Lock Up is the best Sly movie. His acting was brilliant. TV show Prison Break stole so many ideas from this film

  • if thats the case then all of us could make a tv show about prison and make alot of good money easily

  • This is one of the best jail movies out. WATCH IT. its revenge at its best.

  • In his underwear when they wake him up, but by the time he's out of the cell, he has pants and a shirt on. Not only incongrous, but more effective if he arrives at his new spot "stripped".

  • my 6.0 GTO will smoke it!!!

  • What The Hell Kinda Jail Is This!!

  • i dont understand. if hes a prisoner then how can he just come and go like that?

  • He's on a work release. Goes to work but has to return. Otherwise he adds another 10 to 15 for attempted escape.

  • thanks for that. if i ever got to prison i will ask about that.

  • Is that ever possible, for a prisoner to go out, but he to come back in? That's new.

  • yep day release

  • Thanks for the comments.

  • Yeah he was in a minimum security facility until he was tranfered to gateway.

  • Thank you for the information.

  • @Supersweetguy

yeah haha but they say everything is possible in the US at least 20 years ago

  • @internalpeaceseeker. Do you still think everything is possible?

  • @Supersweetguy

no, i'm quite pessimistic and realistic too

to be honest with you i don't like this era 2000s

80s and nineties were great times, i'm only 28 and the best is behind me ....

  • @internalpeaceseeker Im 30 and I feel the same way, I feel 95% of all music and films were all better before say in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. Everything from 2000 onwards is really mediocre and or a low quality remake. It doesnt mean that we have to lie down and die, but I everything today to me is mediocre, even with all of this so-called technological advances everywhere. Seems life was more organic b4.

  • @BabylonFading2012

It's because your older, the circuitry in your brain is more "locked down" for want of another anology, and the music you liked around the age of 23 (on average) is your preferred music.

Has less to do with music -- a lot to do with the way the human brain works.

  • I guess he's a trustee.

  • god i love this movie.

  • i love stallon

  • Jesus is Coming soon, Please repent and trust in Him. He loves you and died for you. The crisis is coming soon and we must have our lives transformed by His love.

    God bless

  • Transsssformerssss! tadadadatatata

  • I would give my right nut for that RT Challenger

  • But who would want your balls for exchange, that is the question.

  • one of my favourite stallone movies this

  • totally

  • Thanks for this, i couldn't even find this to download as a torrent.

  • un vrai film de composition pour stallone 1989 forever

  • name of song at the beggining??? ANYONE

  • That's got to be one of my favourite movies of all time. Along with Rocky, Copland and Over the top another great Stallone movie. I love the music by Bill Conti and Survivor. The story is cool with great actors like Stallone, Sutherland, Amos and Sizemore. I love all the characters, especially Dallas, Wiley and Manly.

  • I'm not the world's biggest Sylvester Stallone fan but I did enjoy this movie. Nobody but Donald Sutherland could have played such a sick and sadistic warden. And nobody but John Amos could have played a tough and mean yet fair CO.

  • Amos is a good actor, I remember him playing James Evans on Good Times. Not many options in those days but that was entertaining, at least in my youth.

  • Every time I see something with John Amos, he never fails. Like I said, he was great as Meisner in Lock Up. As the movie progresses, we find out he is one of the good guys, namely when the guards open fire at First Base in the courtyard. And especially when he calls off the beating of Leone when he gets out of solitary confinement, basically telling Manley and Wiley he doesn't give a shit what the warden ordered. John Amos is an underrated talent.

  • you can't forget "coming to america"

  • Świetny film.

  • This is Stalone's best movie (acting wise) behind the Rocky series. Rambo was good but he never said much! Thanks for the upload man...I love Dallas in this too, Tom Sizemore.

  • Stallone never seemed a good talker really

he is good for rambo type things but he could never pull of a big drama/romance

and i think that is a good thing :D

  • Nah, not really, I thought his acting was good in this though, acting-wise, this was definitely one of his better films next to the Rocky series (the first 3 anyway.) Yea, he's an action guy, and in his time he was the best. A lot of people say he can't act for shit but those same people went and watched his movies!

  • yeah his acting is really good in this i was talking about his voice

and how it works fine for stuff like this and rocky and rambo

but how it wouldn't work in a big romance film

  • No, Sly is not a romance guy. I mean, he couldn't have pulled off Private Ryan, Schindler's List or certain (very heavy) action/drama movies. I was born in 71, so I grew up on Rocky, Rambo and no matter what anyone says, he was the best man for those movies.

  • yea. same thoughts here. some of the greatest actors are great cause they were born for certain roles.

  • His best role, no doubt was Rocky Balboa. They should have ended it after Part 2. Without Mickey, it's not a Rocky movie. And I never bought the idea of Apollo Creed becoming his trainer. I can't picture Evander Holyfield or Roy Jones, Jr becoming second fiddle to their trainee. This was a good role for Stallone, though. What's funny is that he is a graduate of the University of Miami.

  • I dunno, I like Carl Weathers but only the first two movies were somewhat realistic in terms of boxing. It got pretty laughable in his 2nd fight with "Clubber" in Rocky 3, Rocky 4 was ludicrous but still, they were somehow all entertaining, not sure why! Rocky 1 was not only realistic, it was a great film.

  • I have no issue with Carl Weathers as an actor. But I just could never buy into Apollo Creed becoming Rocky Balboa's trainer. Apollo Creed played a flashy, flamboyant and cocky champion who thought he was invincible. He was the guy we loved to hate. It made no sense turning him into a good guy. If they had to make a third sequel, they should have used the plot of Rocky V, because I can buy the idea of him becoming champion and 10 years later, going bankrupt and having to rebound.

  • I just got this movie for a buck like 2 weeks ago and i cant stop watchin it sly is the truth i love all his movies

  • So if hes an inmate in the pen how is it he can just wander around the park with his girl whenever he wants? (i've never seen this movie before)

  • He has been to the old mans funeral.

  • What? nah the old mans been dead awhile. thats why he escaped in the first place he was dying. i watched this movie, but i still dont get that part.

  • Because he was in a minimum security prison nearing the end of his sentence so he was allowed occasional leave to prepare himself for release. That was until Drumgool pulled some strings to get him locked up in gateway lol.

  • i really liike the opening song ^^

  • Thank you so much for posting this movie. This has too be one the most underrated films of the 80's

  • I'm not so busy, so what's your problem...,

  • look at the windshield at
