When Clinton was president in the 1990s, at least people had jobs. Not only that, but his strategy of "saving jobs" were brilliant!! He gave tax credits to companies to keep them from shifting jobs abroad. Hello?! That's brilliant when you compare how it is today. Bush messed it all up saying that outsourcing jobs is good for America. Then Obama...well, seems to have made it worse. Did he bring the companies back to the U.S.? If you look at Letterman's interview with Clinton from only two years ago, the change is remarkable. Bill might have given up meat and dairy and most fish but the results of that diet appear to be taking a toll physically. He looks liked he's aged 10 years in 24 months.

Everything good that Obama tried to do, has been opposed by the Republicans and the Tea Party. Obama suggested raising taxes for the wealthy, the Rep. and the TP opposed it. He never mentioned weather his role in NAFTA paved the way for many jobs being outsourced abroad. For such a smart man, am a little disappointed with his statements. He does acknowledge the growing gap between the rich and middle class and mentioned the Banks lending practices but blaming homeowners without mentioning rise in Oil prices forcing them to choose to heat their home, drive to work or pay a mortgage on an overpriced turkey that a bank appraised was not fully addressed. Does he regret eliminating the Glass Steagall Act? No mention of Union Busting nor cost of Wars in lives and $?

Bill Clinton was responsible for repealing the Glass–Steagall Act which removed the firewall between Banks and Investment firms allowing them to gamble your saving on unstable derivatives, which is part of the reason the US economy is down the toilet right now, not that republican presidents helped with huge spending and low taxes for the rich.
