Great videos it's been a long time since i seen pictures of training i worked on a plough face in the south Wales coal field in Blaencerchan colliery using more modern version of the plough but the idea was the same some of the seam's we worked where very thin started off at 3 foot but it went down to 1ft 3" or thinner we used 6 legged supports which got stuck very often we used the plough to pull them out we used to call it the dog & chain it did a good job on some of them .
