SYTYCD has always been one of my favourite shows, but this...? what's this?? sure as heck isn't West Coast Swing.. One would think that dance experts would know that..

I guess there's a reason the show is called "So you think you can dance"... because they *think* they are dancing WCS but really they're doing some bad ballet/contemporary mashup....

OMG. WCS is lead and follow. Even if it was straight choreo there are no swing elements in this.

This is the worst excuse for west coast swing I have ever seen. What kind of music is that? It is evident They have never seen this dance done right before. That dance should have been under contemporary maybe?

Oh I know what makes this WCS. All the lifts are Benji Schwimmer's moves and 1:30-1:34 is a Jordan & Tatiana move, so if they do all contemporary movements in between it's still WCS right?

I love it that they don't give us EXACTLY what we expect. This came as a surprise mix of swing and contemporary dance. Je suis agréablement surprise!!!
