Bar-B-Que Movie is an 11 minute Super 8 film directed by American actor/filmmaker Alex Winter, created in 1988. Though staged, the segment presents a fairly accurate reproduction of the band's then-legendary live concerts.

This short & Hicks on the same video? What a great period. Back when Austin was a capital of true creativity, and before weird was an ad campaign. Thanks Turdy.

I've been looking for this since Impact was still easily found on VHS, before Freeked! (aka. Freekz)! Alex Winter was perfect for this project, and never did get the credit he deserved (along with partner Tom Stern). Reminds me of when Film Threat was still an underground magazine that included such non-PC extras as the Dead Celebrities Calender. I'm glad C. Gore got his due, but Alex ran into unforeseeable bad luck and eventually ended up directing a Ben 10 movie for The Cartoon Network!

This is just a short film. It was taken from an anthology video featuring other underground artists called Impact Video Magazine. It is very much out of print, but I've seen a couple on Ebay over the years.

This is my favorite video. It has my favorite song. I wasn't living in Texas at this time, but I think that they were. The song Gary floyd used to make me think they were always going to follow me out, like they knew more about my life than me. I was glad to have them come near to me on the road and the other babies too. John Paul just ditched us as the manager I guess out at the beach 1993, military post command not the marshalls.
