I love looking at magazines. People around me would start saying: Oh, stop looking at those. You have a fine body. When really, I'm looking at the CLOTHES not the models. I see models as women that advertises clothing and tries to make them more attractive and realistic by wearing them. I just see models as pretty people that makes a living off of it. I don't have to make a living from my looks so it's okay. That's how I think. : )
Well, its about time that people start realizing that there's a difference between real human bodies and barbie dolls. Look at Europe and Asia - they accept normal human bodies. Another thing that most of us miss is that in media a lot is done via camera tricks and photoshop work.
Super intense video! Great points made! The media does have an affect on all of us and it is wrong... what is even more wrong which you do a great job of illustrating is the affect the media has on children!!! Loved your video... very educational!
This video is sending a very powerful message about how body image is truly harmful to society. Great job with conveying this important message! Loved the pics, kids and music... all the little details were a nice touch to the video.
@amylverma Oh really? Yeah I think all mags etc... should state if they air brush their pictures for children to see this. After all on food packaging etc they have be honest and say what's in it so they should be made to be honest with this also!
Smack in the face of the media moguls who are trying to convey a farce around the globe and are serious contenders for distributing lack of self esteem in the upcoming generations...Great work...!!

Sometimes ppl just won't accept the fact that sometimes clothes look more good on thinner ppl than the curvy ones

@Emxx12 But the thing is they don't look better on anorectic women. Cloths looks better on good looking people.

I heard on NPR that they might start putting WARNING labels next to photos of models that say, " Image has been airbrushed and photoshoped".

@amylverma Good - they should do. I hope they actually do it instead of using this as a publicity thing...
