  • por cara cala a boca e deixa o cara tocar pra gente escutar o som do violão!!

  • BTW, what do you guys think of a takamine ed20mc ns?

Is there a video where you guys have reviewed it?

  • Hey, what do you guys think about the thickness of the neck? Is it easy to do bar chords on it? F's B's and powerchords? Let me know please. I'm interested in this thingy

  • that is not a takamine.... its a funkamine!!!!!!

  • What is the difference between solid spruce top and solid cedar top? I know solids have quality sound.

  • @Videofunization cedar tends to sound more "round" and sitka tends to sound brighter, but there are other factos which make each guitar sound different. Takamines tend to have a certain twangy and "nasal" tone, even the cedar topped ones.

  • I ordered one of these today. I am looking forward to playing it.

  • Japanese guitar and sounds like american... they can make anything (y)

  • i just bought this guitar, does any1 else find the sound has alot of treble when through a p.a even with the bass up?

  • great!!!

  • Can anyone tell me that this guitar have a Solid Mahogany Back or laminated one? The Takamine official website haven't state clearly...I want to get one!!!

  • @Herbertyim Think it's laminated, I remember playing one, but let me know/ Cheers

  • I was a huge fan of Taks but after hearing Martins, I think I'll save up for a low end Martin.

  • Bought it for 389 Euros / 65 Euros per month . Can't wait 'till i have NGD ! Love Takamine guitars . Best bang for the buck , man !

  • Look at his fingers on the fret at 3:06

  • Thanks for a great review

  • Can the Cool Tube Pre Amp System be put into this guitar without having to do any special or custom modifications? Or a better way to ask this is will the Cool Tube fit in the current preamp area, without cutting the hole bigger? Im very interested in installing it into my EF340 =D

  • whats the chord at 4:43 ?

  • Im buying one of these guitars friday!!! Im SOOO excited!

  • @RBekken777 how much does it cost?

  • @hhhorvat It costs about $800 new. But I work at a music store so I got it for less =D

  • I meet this guy! He came in my work to demo Takamines =D

  • Great job guys! Nice review!

  • I notice that this Takamine does'nt have a split saddle like most other Taks.

  • I have one also. Great sounding, sturdy feeling guitar you won't feel scared traveling with. Great playing Brad.

  • I played a ef 340 scgn LOVED its warm tone. What's the difference in tone between the 340 scgn & the 440 scgn live? Its hard to tell with computer's sound......

  • 2:35 It's awesome

  • What kind of strings are you using?

  • @pwg1126 Takamine ships their six string guitars with D'Addario EXP16 light gauge, which is what Brad was using here.

  • @pwg1126 Takamine ships their six string guitars with D'Addario EXP16 light gauge, which is what Brad was using here. -bc

  • Bought it1 Brilliant guitar, I suggest getting one. Strongly recommended!

  • Could you explain the differences between this one and the 440?

  • @cerealtabber The EF440SCGN has a different body shape. A NEX body shape while the EF340SCGN has a Dreadnought Cutaway. I have the EF340SCGN and i will admit, its an awesome guitar. Its sound quality is comparable to an aged Takamine or aged Taylor, but its loudness, can be a bit dissapointing sometimes. SOMETIMES. All depends on the picks and capo your using. Personally i think Dunlop 60mm picks are the best for sound and so is the G7 performance capo. Fat picks mush together all the beauty

  • Thanks, your videos really helped a lot. I'll get the 440, which you demonstrated in another video, and which I think you placed in the background of this video.

  • There is not a better guitar for this price on the market. Don't think twice, about getting this guitar. A hardshell takamine case and a beautiful guitar for about 700$, nothing better.

  • Is the 340 or the 440 best? :P

  • I have been wanting this for a while now just on the nam, and the woods just never heard it. Thanks for posting this vid so i can hear it!

  • this guitar is great, just got it today made whole way from usa to london then up to heare to crimea, its even better the i thought, just great instrument, thanks to siglermusic for showing this guitar in action :)

  • You may not believe this, but I have that exact guitar, that Brad is playing in this video, sitting in my house right now. SN 09060644. I bought it 3-months ago in Nashville at GuitarWorld. It was "used" as a demo and has scratches and the Takamine name on the pick guard to prove it (hence a demo).

Thanks, Brad, for breaking it in for me! You make is sound great. Now if I could only play like you do... my life would be complete!

    Thanks,

    RCBinTN

  • I am getting this guitar for my birthday in may. But Im getting it like may 1st instead of my birthday on the 31st. I'm so excited! I took it for a spin a couple weeks ago, and woo wee!! One of the greatest acoustic guitars I've played!

  • can someone tell me who's the best of the ef340sc or the ef341sc??.is there any difference in sound?

  • damn i really want this guitar ... but i'm just a poor student ._.

  • This preamp CT4B is Cooltube? (i mean if CT = Cool Tube). pls give a response

  • no this preamp is not cool tube the ctp or ctp2 is the cool tube i have a ef341sc with the ct4b2 preamp in it and i am upgrading to the cool tube because the ct4b2 is very thin you really have to take youru bass all the way up and your mids and highs all the way out and it still isnt a fat sound and still has that mid sound to it if you look at any of the guitars that brad demos that has the ct4b look at how he has it eq'd on the guitar, its just like i am describing to you

  • can i install o cooltube preamp on a Takamine EG340SC instead of TP4T which is already on it ? if it can, how much does it costs and from where can i buy one ?

  • yes you can if it only 3 to 5 yrs old and the cool tube is around 249.00 on ebay but i think i may have bought the last one the other day but there will be more on there soon i'm sure. the ct4b is a big step up from thr tp4t that you have but its not as good as the cool tube which is why i upgraded how ever if you wanted a ct4b2 like the one in this video i wil be listing one thats like new for 89.00 and free shipping and they sell for 179.00 new so just trying to get some of my money back

  • Great guitar and great demo. I really like your videos; very helpful!

  • Funny! I may be old, but I am not too old to learn, LOL. Thanks for watching our videos and commenting.

  • people dont stop playing becous they get old, they get old becous they stop playing.

  • Chris, thank you for keeping your intro short!

It's still a bit long and wordy for my taste but at least it's not as bad as your earlier videos where you'd spent the first half of of the video introducing Brad and his resume....

Remember that we "youtubers" have short attention spans. Just the facts!
