1. The First (IMO, the best villain to be created on tv ever. Its inhuman nature, eerie appearances as dead people, capability to manipulate people by mixing truth with lies and all of that without even having a physical form. Its the only buffy villain that managed to get me scared and unsettled)
@kwistew I didn't find Adam to be that great of a villain, though I will say he was the best part of that season, only because (IMO) season 4 was lacking. I found he wasn't so much evil as he was, say, Skynetty if you will. An A.I. gone terribly wrong. Though the others in your list I would definitely agree with, though I would put Caleb separate as 5th, and take out Adam altogether. I found Caleb, though a follower of The First, to be awesome as a villain, 5th, only because he was a minion.
@Poky789 I have to agree with you on that one. Which is why I didn't put Adam on my list. To me Adam was an unremarkable Villain in an unremarkable season. Because to me the Seasons tone and vibe is also defined by the Villain and Adam was just dry and didn't really have alot of Character. The only villain that I really didn't put on this list that I wished I had Was the Master. But on my top 7 this is it.
@Cleapatra25 I agree with your top seven, maybe not the order, but definitely the people on it. It's a good list, I would have put Dark Willow as #1 though, because it was almost painful watching Willow be so damn evil, but then again she just lost her love, and it's all just such a whirlpool of emotion that it makes you feel bad for her, even though she just flayed a guy alive. But Glory was one helluva super demon hell god bitch.
though they weren't a main villian The Gentlemen creeped me right the Fuck out my friend dressed up like one one halloween and surprised me by appearing behind me with that stare of their's one hallowen let's just say he screwed up in doing that cause I mistakenly punch him cause he straight up scared me and I went defensive, but it was the best scare of my life!
Angelus was just a brilliant character, such a great personality. Boreanaz will have had more fun playing that role than the role of Angel.
Glory was just a bad-ass, and funny. She had such a wicked edge to her too, she scared the crap out of me. Caleb was also a great character, as well as Spike.

The one episode that I couldn't stand was "Out of Sight Out of Mind". About the invisable girl Marcie Ross who goes psychotic because no one likes her and she has no friends and that makes her go invisable. Couldn't stand it. Ever watch it?
