@IIHoSTiiiLeII; Since the bike is kickstart I had to change the stator so it would put out enough power for the lights. Once it is installed it's just a matter of wiring everything together. I have a taillight/brake light on the back also.
I dont know why people like the crf150r. Gaskets blow in them and the f is so strong that you could pretty much though it off the grand canyon and it would still work.
@motocrossmaniac9; It depends on the kind of riding you do and how big you are. I like the 150F/230F because it's air cooled and simple, there's just fewer potential problems and they're pretty much bullet proof.
@scruffytown , Definitely worth the money. I've had a stick get jammed in between the brake disk and caliper a couple of times prior to installing it.
oh wow, my 150f was bored .50 over a while back, and i have no compression again, i was looking for things to do to it, that sounds like a good idea. how much did it run you?
@HnEhonda, The 150F and 230F share the same frame so a stock 230 engine would bolt right in but I sent my 150 engine out and had it built with Honda parts into a 230.
@airmaxx23 oh i didnt know the frame was the same, what exactly did they pit in your 150 motor to make it a 230? did they just change the cylinder and piston?
@HnEhonda, Here is a list of the 230 parts that were used: timing chain, timing chain guide, timing chain tensioner, head studs, head bolts, crankshaft, cylinder, clutch nut, flywheel bolt, piston, tings, intake manifold, airbox boot and carb. Let me know if you have any other questions.

A 150r will spank both the 150 and 230 though.
