  • Frasier in 5 years.

  • A textbook case victim of the film industry.

  • I love how he continues talking even after the director yells cut!

  • AahhahhAhh the French !

  • Awesome ... Do they still have the wine available or just brandy now?

  • I found out about this gem fromFamily Guy!!

  • This is infinitely better when you turn on closed captioning.

    1.) Play the video.

2.) Hit the "CC" button that pops up on the lower right-hand corner.

    3.) Hit "Transcribe Audio."

    4.) Enjoy.

  • @AdventurousPutty Thx so much for that, I'm crying with laughter with those captions on.

  • @AdventurousPutty Hahah! 0:44- "Maaah... the French", translated as Morale fringe. Alot of meanings here.

  • Hi Kassem. :-)

  • GADDAFI

  • Fucking priceless. He later admitted on a talk show that he had never even tasted Paul Masson.

You'd think that if he was going to show up trashed for a champagne commercial, it would at least have something to do with the product he was backing.

  • What the fuck does kassem even watch in his spare time

  • KassemG`s dick nose led me here

  • wow...shameful

  • wannabe trolls need to come up with their own / new insults.

  • "muahhhh haaaaaaa the French"

    UNBELIEVEABLE! SO GOOD!

  • Man, those opening "AAAAHhhh's" are too funny. Thanks for posting!

  • Haha F- Paul Masson

  • "MWAHAAAAAAAAAAH the French!" There's so much to like about this...the twitching finger, the lack of volume control, the looks on his "co-stars" faces as they try to pretend that there's a possibility that this could be a usable take, the way he develops an Irish accent for a few seconds...I can't stop watching!

  • @0rip0 Ha Ha Ha - agree, but were they really thinking he might get it right this time ??? U knew it wasn't going to happen. Everyoney was resigned to not getting home until the production crew gave up on it. So, another dribbling drunk makes a mess of 60 peoples' day - what a surprise !!!!!!!

  • Sexellence.

  • @nicrodrig1 lolz I heard it.

  • It's BETTER than Citizen Kane. Pure gold

  • it's PINKY FROM ANIMANIACS!

  • Orson Welles is the voice that inspired the voice of The Brian (as in in "Pinky and The Brain").

  • @MiHiVidz Holy cow, I didn't know that! LOL. He even looks kind of like The Brain. :D

  • @MiHiVidz Thanks. :D

  • Guy with the bottle: "I went to acting school for this?" I wonder if they ever completed a successful performance of this commercial

  • Rosebud

  • He sounds like the ostrich on Family Guy.

  • haaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Rosebud......Rose...Bud....Weiser please!

  • 0:12

  • 0:13

  • If Orson wells got drunk wile filming the commercial, we're talkiing about some seriously bitchin' wine here!

  • I'm not one who thinks acting is a noble activity which elevates individuals to greatness. I think Mr Welles was a talented actor although he always seemed to be playing Orson Welles. Not his fault of course. I've no sympathy for alcoholics however. They destroy their own lives, torture their loved ones & are mostly worthless troublemaking pests. Nowadays they're let off the hook by the modern notion that their weakness is actually an illness. They're just gutless, pathetic & revolting.

  • @gcmc2 Projection much?

  • @orpheussun I think either your comprehension or your terminology are out of whack but you'll need to detail your question for me to help identify which and further the discussion. No offence taken you understand - just that projection isn't what most would infer from my comment - rather the opposite really. Perhaps projection isn't quite what you mean ?

  • @gcmc2 Sorry, I commented on the wrong comment, in the wrong video! Ironically, I did so because I was drunk.

  • @orpheussun No problem. I could actually see a couple of valid meanings for the suggestion but didn't know which is all.

  • Comment removed

  • @gcmc2 I'm pretty sure alcoholics drink because they have issues and they don't know how to deal with them in a responsible manner. That sounds like a disorder to me.

  • @QueenAnime99 Well. yes it becomes a disorder but only for someone who is weak enough to let it happen and then too weak to deal with it. It comes out the same to me. Lack of backbone. Even when they are obvioiusly destroying themselves and usually making the lives of those close to them a misery they don't have the guts to deal with it. Alcoholism is just ugly and disgusting.

  • @gcmc2 Perhaps the disorder(s) causes this "weakness," as you call it. I agree that alcoholism is ugly. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

  • This is hilarious but it's such a shame this comes up as the second video hit of such a fine actor.

  • "['102, Take 3...Action, please!....']

...MAAaa-HAAAaa, the French.....Champagne has always been celebratedfritsexcellence. ThereISACALIFORNia Champagne by Paul MASSON. Inspired by that SAMEfrenchEXCELLENCE - itsfermentedinthebottleandthelikethebest; French. Champagenitsvintage, DATED!! So, [CUT!!], Paulmassonsupe-......"

  • @dean0waterz >>>MAAaa-HAAAaa, the French<<< Let someone blurt this out @a state dinner for Sarkozy one day & see how long it takes the press to explain it to the public!

  • @CocteauDalighari That would be too awesome to even put into words.....

  • I can't help laughing but I feel so fucked up doing it.

    Sorry Orson.

  • And now watch as I make this jug disapear!

  • dude speak up I can't hear you over my chewing

  • 0:42

  • We will so no wine before it's time, because I'M GOING TO FUCKING DRINK IT ALL FIRST! BWAAAA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAA!

  • And like the best French _____________Champagne it's dated.

  • ROSEBUDDDDDDD!!!! BURRRRRPPPPP!!!.

  • Lol sent here by Family Guy commentary.

  • How the hell are the extras holding it together? That's some fine acting there!

  • From "Citizen Kane" to this. What a trainwreck.

  • @pdorn777 Maybe he should've done some blow. It would have kept his weight down.

  • @devtrev Yeah, it worked for David Crosby.

  • doesn`t the director realise welles is drunk???

it doesn`t matter anyway...they are not even fit to shine the great mans boots

  • The greatest commercial investment of all time! By having Orson Welles's drunk ass do this they have had way more mention then they ever deserved for their crap wine.

  • @sortedevaras lol i agree

  • In all truth, this is the best ad Paul Masson could ever hope for.

  • And THAT, ladies and gentleman, is called Hammer Lammered.

  • How was that for you Orson ?..................Mwaaahhaaahhaaaaa......winning....I'm still WINNING

  • @gcmc2

    Orson Sheen, FTW

  • If I directed a masterpiece like Citizen Kane at 24 only to end up doing stuff like this years latter then I'll probably arrive drunk on set to.

  • @RevanGabriel LMAO Gotta say I agree with you!

  • @RevanGabriel if i directed a masterpiece at any age and wanted to chill out and get drunk the rest of my life i think that would be just fine...

  • @RevanGabriel Yeah, he didn't really pace himself very well.

  • 54 people didn't get paid that day when they canceled the commercial.

  • lol, there is not champagne besides the sparkling wine produced in Champagne in France. How shitty that a professional company doesn't know that.

  • Maaa haaAAAAAAA

  • Awesome. But was it real? If he was that wasted, why would they even be trying to film? Would have made more sense to let him sober up some.

  • Those two actors are seeing their acting job go right down the drain!

  • Over rated commie.

  • @sp1duh what's the names uh summa them other wines we got? peeno greeshio?

  • But when he was sober, he was VERY very good: "We will sell NO wine before its time!"

  • 0:43 - MAHAAAAAAAaaaaathefrench.....champagne has always been celebrated for its excellence.

  • From "Citizen Kane" to this. Incidentally, this was filmed immediately after Orson swallowed Billy Barty.

  • wow how much alcohol DOES it take to get Orson Welles drunk?

  • @RedDragonSmaug A shit ton of bottle fermented paul masson champagne.

  • lol drunk ass

  • 0:43 - that is one of the funniest sounds ever emitted from a human being.

  • Will somebody please take the part around :43 "Maahaaa...the French" and make a whole video out of those three seconds looped maybe 40 or 50 times?

  • @rdangelo Or splice it w/ Welles's prologue to WotW: We know now that in the early years of the 20th century, this world was being watched closely by intelligences greater than MWWHAAAA, the French!

  • 'We will serve no wino before he learns his lines.'

  • I think I'm going to be INSPIRED by the French excellence...anyone else?

  • Aaaaaaaa, the French...
