Here's the opinion written by Mr. Rutherford of the West Australian:
Here lies one of the dangers of wall-to-wall Labor: with no dissenting voice, no real check or balance, the truth of any matter and the rightness of any policy will be hard, if not impossible, to establish. Given the craven performance of the compliant media during the campaign, with never a hard question or a serious follow-up for the whole of the past year, this is now a serious matter.
The most brilliantly election campaign ever seen in Australian politics has been planned and executed by the Labor. And it's a campaign for the victory of spin over substance. I've read an editorial (21 Nov) which I totally agree to it.
What I really find sad about YOUTH, is their YOUTH!!! They are too young to remember the last time we had a YOUTH backed Labor Government. Ernest Hemmingway once said of the Australian Political system - "If you are a 21 year old Australian and not a member of the Labor Party, you don't have a heart!!! And if you are a 31 Year old Australian and still a member of the Labor Party, you don't have a brain". All I can say to Australian YOUTH is PLEASE GROW UP!!!!
You cant expect youth to grow up when they are still learning. Politicians take clear advantage of this, they know that if they can look good to the youth, they will be able to con them into thinking they can benefit when all it is, is really propaganda, dont get caught up in things that, that being politics or business. you got to let our youth still grow up before attempting to brain wash them atleast
What happens when polluting industries find themselves surrounded by housing development? People get sick, the companies won't move. This is the situation in Kilburn, South Australia, right now.
Here's an interesting comment I had read previously.

In todays news, corruption in the highest levels of politics, voting for federal government scandles, the miss use of public money, and they want "US" to vote for their "INCOMPETENCE?" Labor gets on libs backs of miss use of public money, labor dont explain rudds lagit excuse of a house that has wings, and tony abbott gets his own back by admitting libs IR laws just dont cut it. next week, a new inexperienced corrupted gov takin the place of the experience at corruption gov the old libs
Rudds education revolution isnt gonna be up and running for six years.SIX YEARS.some revolution.Unions donate 30 million to labor what do they expect in return? When rudds asked about the massive donation he says he no's nothing about it?The union puppet is a lier and a fake.
With all thats going on, australia and no human rights, misleading information, lies about climate change and global warming, taxes affecting inflation, even when they come down, how can you vote for clowns? how can you vote for INCOMPETENCE? Its just not worth my time and effort to vote for a rigged election & System, specially when you only have two part preferred system... choose, one incompetent party or the other? no thnx. have your say dont vote for incompetence
Rudd has successfully left an excellent impression with voters. Both his PR team and the media should take the credit for that. Why most of the media always turn a blind eye on Kevin's weakness and wrong doings? It's risky if any political party can have an absolute power in Australia? With a federal Labor government + state Labor government in all states + Labor controlled senate, we probably give a blank cheque to the Labor. Would that be good to Australians?
If there is anyone (good politicians) they are hard to find, i contacted Tanya Plibersek after she contacted me back through myspace to not hesitate in contacting her directly only to be told be her secretary that, she can not help because its not her electorate, I never thought human rights depended on where you lived and THIS IS A FEDERAL MP??????
I have mate. I ask again, where is the negative campaigning in regards to workchoice reforms?
How about you having a look around Labor AND the Union sites...any negative campaigns there? How about you name them as well...BTW they are not the only 'ads' available...keep looking and you'll find them...but name the Labor and union scare campaigns ( that started almost as soon as workchoice reforms were announced)
obviously you haven't been watching the same ads I've been watching...the workchoice ads? were is the scare campaign? How about the UNIONS? NOTHING of their campaign is anything about their own policies but criticizing the PM. You are obviously talking utter crap.
and if you wanna follow the other sheep and be brainwashed by polically sponsered fascism go ahead...old farts gone high tech will get slaughtered on this platform, they have to sensor the comments.pathetic vote CHEWBACCA 07 he's my sassafrass"or NEVER VOTE
