Hey hero, so I have a question that u may or may not be able to answer. I have Terraria on an I-Mac and whenever I get fairly deep in the underworld , my screen goes crazy and glitches out and I have to close Terraria . Is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks :)

@TheNajort Lol its not dead its still very useful... Yes with the 1.1 updates there are 3 new sets of armor but the molten armor is not dead its still alive and well people will still use it.

Everyone that doesn't know why it did not light up. It is because in patch 1.0.6 they removed it. So only the flames or whatever will appear but no light...

@TheMdld I just made mine with a gold set and it doesn't light up either. I haven't checked the Wiki, but that might have been due to the most recent update. Possibly fixed in 1.1?

@Xeyify molten es better for defense and attack damage but if you ahve weapons with small knockback or strong but slow meelee weapons u should use the shadows because it gives meelee weapon swing speed

its not that hard to get the resources once you get obsidian skin potion and fiery greatsword. then you can get it really easy.

@MathewTerraria Well, it takes quite some time to get it. I played about 20h until I got my Molten Equip (Hamaxe, Fury, Armour, Pickaxe, Phonix Blaster). BUT it was only twenty hours because: It was the version where you could mine hellstone and obsidian with a gold pickaxe, you had only imps and bone serpents in the underworld, enemy projectiles dropped hearts, potions healed 100hp and had short cooldown, the bug that you could mine hellstone with only one swing instead of two was still active.

I got molten everything, friend says it's not efficent since I use mana using items a lot, but I just swap out molten and meteor depending on how awesome I feel.

I got it just now, with only gold armor and the Blade of Grass equipped. The best way to do it is to get the Molten Pickaxe, and just build this huge-ass tunnel going down. Earthwelling helps if you don't have much Obsidian, as well.

hey HERO i have an idea for terraria, how do you like it, raids, it can be a option on the title screen you click on it select a character and it puts you to a screen where you can invite players whilst its searching for random players, then once it found enough people it puts you into a massive dungeon with things called spawning crystals, if you break one with a hammer, a boss will spawn, a different one tho, none in the single player, hmmm well we've cthulu's eye. why not fight cthulu himself

Arrrrgh why did they make it harder to get Molten Armor? I already had it, but that doesn't stop me from being unhappy about their making the stupidly difficult to acquire hellstone bars insufficient to make armor. Jungle Armor I understand needing an armor suit to modify, because there isn't any metal, relatively, in flowers and wasp stingers and vines, but why does Molten Armor need it?
