Avec toute la profonde admiration que j'éprouve envers Philippe Jaroussky, (qui a eu le courage de se lancer dans le répertoire des mélodies françaises alors qu'on le situait dans des contrées plus baroques) je suis déçu de cette interpretation gâchée par la voix trop lourde et trop faible de l'interprète. Cette mélodie exquise ne lui correspond tout simplement pas.

Cher Organiste06, ton post m'interpelle. Je trouve justement que Jaroussky a beaucoup de légèreté dans cette interprétation. Aurais-tu une version de référence à conseiller pour que je puisse comparer? Je voudrais moi-même chanter cette mélodie... Merci d'avance.

@MrAlbar1 Je n'ai pas d'autres références pour cette mélodie. Mais je trouve que le timbre de la voix de l'interprète n'est pas assez naturelle, ça ne lui correspond pas vraiment.

Almost all the CDs of Jaourssky are with lyrics translated into German, Italian, French and English. It's very helpful to understand the meaning of lyrics.

Does anybody know all of the Philippe Jaroussky's CDs released in USA come with lyrics and translation to English? I always download music from iTunes but I am thinking of buying his CDs if I can know what he's singing about! :)
