This worked for me in someway but i figured out another thing to do. Once u have clicked manage music and videos click the arrow next to he ipod symbol and click on music then on the bottom its going to say autofill from: and click on the playlist with the new music and then click on autofill on the right hand side. Because clicking and dragging obviously did not work for me :/

when i click "manually manage music and videos" i HAVE TO select apply before i can navigate anywhere else. after clicking apply im preented with a box that says "this iphone is synched w/ another itunes library, do you want to erase this iphone and synch with this itunes library?" options to click are "erase and synch" or "cancel"...i choose canel, based off previous experiences. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

For people who are running into troubles with your itunes "forcing" you to sync (in the pop-up box), make sure BEFORE you plug it in, that you go to "edit (top toolbar) > preferences > devices" and check off the first option that says "prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing data automatically".

I nearly had this issue too. Then, when you plug in your ipod, you can follow this video. :) Voila.

INSTRUCTIONS : WHEN YOU CONNECT IT TO ANOTHER COMPUTER IT WILL START SYNCHING!! press cancel and cancel again and it will STILL SYNC!... *YOU HAVE TO CHECK THAT BOX THAT SAYS MANUALLY SYNC right after and IT WILL TERMINATE THE SYNC. NOW YOU can just drag and drop from your library. Worked PERFECT for ME!
