He quoted Obama from earlier last year where he stated that he wants be able to assassinate citizens at will, and tried to make it sound reasonable to everyone etc... @RegressLess Alright, I reread the bill and the use of the phrase "belligerent act" has me worried because a US citizen who performs a belligerent act can be detained, yet the term is not defined by the bill. The bill also states that these rules are not required to be followed in the case of citizens, but does not explicitly say that it CAN NOT be done to citizens. Loopholes much? However, I see nothing in the bill pertaining to the use of deadly force against such citizens.

He quoted Obama from earlier last year where he stated that he wants be able to assassinate citizens at will, and tried to make it sound reasonable to everyone etc... If there is no major protest agaisnt such statement then he and all legal sides can assume the public has accepted it, and it isn't under debate, and so they will enforce these violations of our liberty as much as they want if they know they will get away with it.

@RegressLess Alright, I reread the bill and the use of the phrase "belligerent act" has me worried because a US citizen who performs a belligerent act can be detained, yet the term is not defined by the bill. The bill also states that these rules are not required to be followed in the case of citizens, but does not explicitly say that it CAN NOT be done to citizens. Loopholes much? However, I see nothing in the bill pertaining to the use of deadly force against such citizens.

OK they act like everyone can be a terrorist, but still in the law, that only applies to someone who has bombed or has all the materials to bomb federal facilities really... and this has to be provable in a court of law or else all the agents involved can get a lot of felony charges by any officer who observes his misconduct, even if he was just "following orders" or policies, or even Presidential orders. He is still liable for suit if he breaks any constitutional rights, no matter what!

Ron Paul should read the federal law that says the only definition of Terrorism is someone who has already carried out a bombing of federal property or has already killed people for stated political reasons. It can include someone who has in fact conspired and is recorded as contributing for a bombing that has taken place on federal property. The other part of the definition says that the bombing has to be carried out for a "political" reason.

@ksr622002 Even if Ron Paul wanted to get rid of it he still couldn't. More than 2/3rds of Congress voted for it I believe. And from what I have heard is that this law cannot be changed according to the Feinstein Act

So, this is an exception that will be easily repealed. Then that law can go back to doing its job we can live closer to the world we're SUPPOSED to be living in.

Maybe... But if you do a little digging around you will find that some laws that have been passed in their own special way defy the Constitution. This law shouldn't of ever been considered nor presented. But Ill use what you have said. "technically any law that is in violation of the Constitution is null and void."
