  • I'm in USA but I find this very informative. I had been wondering bout Deaf people being affected in Queensland floods. I hope you will make more vlogs showing the impacts upon Deaf people, their communities and perhaps Deaf schools in Queensland that may be affected by the floods.

    Thanks!

  • I have established a group on Facebook called "Auslan News on SBS". Please join if you believe we need to have our own weekly half-hour Auslan News program on SBS . SBS has already been contacted, as well as our local Federal Member of Parliament, Deaf Australia, and CODA Australia. When the group gets to 500 members, we will present the petition to SBS. Join today and tell your friends!

  • It is wonderful to see the interpreters on the flood updates videos. It's thankful to your service that I can understand what the Premier and other important persons have been saying. I'm born hearing impaired. I had relied on Signed English through school but now have changed over to Auslan. Still learning.

I got a text and email from Rocky's Deaf Support group about needing support but luckily I'm unaffected by the floods.

Thank you very much for interpreter on videos. I really appreciate it

  • Excellent - its a powerful message thru Sign Language as a part of UN CRPD to acknowledge our Auslan = Spoken Language! Thank you
