HAH! Wow, you threw me way off with this video being in the morning for me! Wasn't expecting it this early. You caught me with the element of surprise! Nice to have your family over to celebrate! What's Hank building in his backyard?

HAH! He's actually expanding the back of his house by almost 3 metres so they'll have to dig a foundation, take down the back wall of the house, build a roof etc. It's a pretty big thing. We took out all the cobblestones, some trees and stuff... And they'll remodel the rest of the garden too, they'll put mostly tiles (granite) in there...

Wow, that sounds like a serious project that you guys have started! The existing roof line is what will determine the extent of the work to be done. Isn't it gonna be cold when you start demoing the walls etc? Here we have to pull permits and follow building codes which have to be inspected. Is it the same in the Netherlands?

Actually, we're only doing the preparations and they hired a contractor to do the rest :-)
