My dad was in the 11th acr...nearly got killed when a roadside bomb went off 1 mile away.His friend from the 114 FAR was inspecting a car when it went of next to the car.Killed him. My dad was also had to inspect the car but he was on his way. The bomb went off and my dad made it out. He was the first one to report it.

Of course people want to kill you - you and I and our country have destroyed the fabric of their society by destroying their infrastructure. It seems to me that the "terrorists are of all ilk. Some want some sort of religious purity. Some want revenge for killing their loved ones- stealing their oil- meddling and messing up their lives somehow. We should be out of the middle east period!

Shame on you!!! EVERY soldier is a hero! The population of the United States should know of and appriciate the sacrifices our soldiers make for their country. I found nothing in this video that belittles any soldier.

As a wife of a former 11th ACR officer I am saddened that ANYONE would post ANYTHING negative against the HEROIC men who defend our country.

Hail to the Black Horse, the best fighting unit in the United States Army. Only one other unit had the name Black Horse in past history and that was a Confederate Army outfit known as the 4th Virginia Cavalry.
