  • I am so happy that she is fine and well again after this injury, and wow what a dance

  • wow, what a great argentine tango

  • Kym is amazing but she is the worst technically out of the females her technique isn't that great! But she is a performer damn good

  • sympathy scores .. hint hint

  • @TheSifi1234 i don't think it was necessarily that. given the context, you could see how easily distracted something like that could have been. scared to fall, scared to try, scared to get injured/or die!!! This was a life or death for some many people watching (given the context) All those things make it so emotional. And then the human heart comes into play. how could you not give them a perfect score.

  • One of the BEST dances of that season....big ups to Hines and Kym. They deserved to win the mirror-ball trophy!

  • One of the best dances (if not the best dance) ever on DWTS. Just imagine what it would have been like if her neck was not injuried! Amazing!

  • I cried but they did great

  • This, along with the first salsa, was one of my favorite dances of ALL the dancers. Loved Hines & Kim!

  • Ugh cringe every time. I can't even imagine that pain. Ugh. She's very lucky she recovered quickly!

  • At 35, I believe that Kym is the oldest of the current female professionals on the show, but wow! There is no one sexier than she is.

  • i cringe everytime i see that fall..and i just noticed ricki lake in the audience...go figure. then she ended up being on the next season!

  • @19Dianne94 If you mean the woman in the front row with the black hair and the guy sitting behind her, that isn't Ricki Lake. She looks a lot like Ricki Lake, but that is Kym's mother.

  • @dulgerom1953 wow...i mean photo double..right at 6:33 ...lol saw the comment and was like...theres alot of black haired girls with guys behind them...then i saw that he was leaning on her shoulder and understood

  • On local news 2 weeks ago here in the burgh Hines Ward did say that him and Kym have still a very strong chemistry and they are very close and he cares and loves Kym always, I miss watching those two dance....But I love Bruno saying, Every emotion was out there for the taking the battle will, between the man and women who's going to be the dominate partner who going to relinquish all the resistance who's going to end on top? Aww it was like good sex you never want it to end! Amen to that one lol

  • I hated this dance from day one, now I don't know what happened but I love it!

  • I mean like haha

  • That would lime really hurt I mean hurt and they did it withbone less practice with all the other couples they got a really high score!!!

  • i luv this dance and they make a good team

  • Absolutely the sexiest dance EVER! Im so disappointed in the current group of "stars"! Im glad I have the videos from season 12 to look back on. Thank you, codebear4! Hines and Kym are so right together; I just loved the way they hugged and kissed each other all the time. It looks like true affection between them. I wonder whats happening with them now.

  • My absolute favorite last season!!!!!! Hines and Kym had amazing chemistry and he really was so lovable, personable, charismatic, focused and versatile!!!!!!!! So happy he won!!!!!

  • holyy shitt 1:30

  • shes wonderful and her taste wonderful dresss

  • 4:10 EPIC ;)

  • It seems to me that Kym Johnson, more than any other female DWTS pro, has the ability to make her partner look good, while looking absolutely sensational herself. Just look at her tango with Donny Osmond: really, he did very little compared to other male stars, and yet that dance has been voted as one of the top ten viewer favorites and it earned two 10's. Kym, hope you're always with DWTS!

  • She was incredibly lucky. This is the kind of accident that could have resulted in permanent damage, including paralysis.

  • I'd be pretty worried if I was Hine Ward's wife, Hine and Kym got amazing chemistry.

  • @FGBCHENG Hines isn married; he's divorced. I agree that he and Kym have amazing chemistry. I hope that carries over in real life. They make a marvelous couple. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. I wonder if they ever went on that vacation they talked about when the show was over.

  • hmm I wonder why there were so many hits on this vid!! lol

  • My favorite dance is the argentine tango. I felt so bad for Kym when she hurt neck like that.

  • ouch.... I would of quit dancing my whole life if I was her, she's a fierce competitor and nothing breaks he dorwn but man, that would hurt like hell.

  • are they not married yet? they belong to each other . . . . .

  • this dance is breathtakingly beautiful! it brings me to tears everytime i watch it! hines is such a gentleman and took great care of kym! they brought magic to the dance floor! <3

  • I think their making this Argentine Tango slower was not only good for Kym's neck, but it also made the whole performance more sensual, more 'steamy'...the perfect simmering percolation of all their mutual chemistry. Just an amazing performance. And BIG props to Hines for taking such good care of Kym during that dance. You won the competition for me from that point on, my man.

  • This was the first entire season I watched and I can't believe I didn't watch it before. Hines and Kym were great, he had magic feet the entire season. They had great chemistry, great dancing, I'm glad they won!

  • 12 peoples don't have a heart.

  • @nova9403 make that 13 :( :(

  • @nova9403 14 now

  • @nova9403 14 now

  • My gosh love these two!! They have done great and the chemisrty.....is that for real!!

  • THAT WAS A SEXY LAST POSITION IN THAT DANCE!!!!!

  • i have sooo much respect for kym for dancing beautifully in this tango after dat scary fall

  • Comment removed

  • Hines was the absolute WORST dancer on DWTS. Just proves that this show is about what's popular rather than what's good.

  • @macuser5555 Yeah, Len says he may be the best football player on the show, Carrie Ann calls him Twinkle Toes and compares him to Gene Kelly, Maks says he's amazing and has the whole package, Anna predicts he wins at least 4 weeks before the finale, Ralph and Karina can't wait to congratulate them after their dances, and David Garrett (the professional violinist) gives him a salute after the Paso Doble, but it's your opinion I accept over all others.

  • @sporadichum Exactly, you just proved my point. Keep what's popular on the show in order to maintain ratings. Ever heard of the snowball effect? American Idol was famous for it. Whatever Simon said easily swayed votes from america. Most people voted with whatever he said. That's how idol kept certain people on the show longer than they deserved.

  • @macuser5555 OK, then how do you explain Ralph and Karina? He was highly popular, yet the judges often excoriated and sometimes humiliated them (especially Bruno) but still they were 4th. Sugar Ray would've been the one to get higher scores - everyone liked him. They would have maintained high ratings without Hines. Except for Mike and Kendra, Hines was the furthest removed from their world. I don't understand that motive in his case. P.S. excuse the snarky attitude in 1st reply.

  • @sporadichum Okay, first off, Ralph and Karina were honestly the best dancers and Kirsty Alley (with Maks) was the most improved and popular due to name recognition and her incredible weight loss. Because of this both couples were so popular it was easy for them to get far. The judges wanted Hines to win so they kept downrating Ralph's great dancing (undeservingly) and constantly praising Hines' mistakes (undeservingly) so Hines would have the upper hand and win. Thus far higher ratings.

  • @sporadichum So why did DWTS choose Hines Ward to help him become the winner? Answer: Because his team (Pittsburg Steelers) made it to the Super Bowl (they didn't win) but just the same, he's still fresh in the media and keeping a popular football star (who's team played in this year's Super Bowl) on the show as long as they can will keep their ratings high. I love DWTS but in the most recent seasons "What and Who's Popular" seems more important to them. Remember the Palin fiasco last season?

  • @macuser5555 Wow, that is quite serious and specific theory. Everything short of "judges were simply reading the script written by ABC when commenting on Hines's dances."

  • @nicknsharonfan Which you've further proved my point. Thanks much. It's all a conspiracy to help Hines win. So you say that ABC had a script for the judges to read about Hines? Well all of it was praise so that just proved my point. The show is highly setup, Hines never deserved to make it to the top 5 couples.

  • Hines and Kym won NOT because they had the best technique, but the BEST PACKAGE: best overall performance time and time again, the musicality, the chemistry betn them, choreagraphy best suited for Hines, best attitude, best smile even. He didn't have one weak dance. His strength was lack of weakness. That made him judges' favorite, crowd favorite, and fan favorite: which is all you need to win.

  • @nicknsharonfan WOW, interesting. You must've been watching a different season of DWTS than most others did. He never had one weak dance???? OMG!!! LOLLLLLLLLL. OKAYYYYYYYY. Steelers fan R U?

  • @macuser5555 I watched the same season u watched. I don't watch football. Didn't know who Hines Ward was until this season of DWTS. Although I started liking Hines and Kym, I voted for Ralph cuz I've been his fan since the 80s. Then he got eliminated. I stopped voting but rooted for Hines and Kym cuz I enjoyed them so much. And then they won!! LOLLLLLLLLL!!!!

  • @macuser5555 As far as "What and Who's Popular" I can respond later if prompted. Regarding the Palin fiasco, there is no analogy: Bristol usually scored in the bottom three (Hines always in the top three); Judges critiques were lukewarm "yeah, but" remarks-not a recipe to score; I don't remember the pros speaking highly of her performances - Maks is not exactly a "company man." He says what is on his mind and doesn't say what someone else tells him to say (refer to first reply).

  • @sporadichum I wasn't exactly clear about the "Palin fiasco". What I meant was there was a lot of controversy about Bristol being on the show in the first place. She's not a star, heck she's a politician's daughter. WTF? It wasn't until several episodes where it became obvious that DWTS had her on the show to help promote her mother's political career and this was the WRONG place for it. Ghetto of DWTS doing that. Hines never received enough critique and he should have. It was all a set up.

  • @sporadichum I brought up the Palin situation to show how much DWTS uses people to get ratings. The show was willing to promote Sarah Palin's career just to get ratings. Bristol was no star! They promoted Hines the same way because they knew it would keep people watching the show. They were easy on the criticism with him to keep him from getting voted off due to his poor dancing skills. They were much harder on the good dancers. Why?? Can you answer that?

  • @macuser5555 Here is an incomplete list of what I see as the reason for the high ratings: Wendy Williams is on the show; Sugar Ray Leonard is on the show; The two old actors light it up on the 1st night; Petra dances a beautiful Waltz; Celeb mishaps (not that unusual); Pro mishaps (very unusual); Hines consistantly with high scores; The little known actress dancing incredibly, Jerico shows some grace, The young man (Romeo) finding a groove; Mark torquing off Len and vice versa;

  • @sporadichum Sugar Ray and Wendy Williams were very bad examples for you to use. They were both voted off much earlier in the competition so they attributed to nothing in regards to the show's ratings. Romeo was a pretty boy and they kept him on as long as they could due to the young females/males that would be voting. Hines' football team just played in the SuperBowl. He was the most relevant of all of the contestants but he was one of the worst dancers and got hardly any criticism. Laughable.

  • @macuser5555 (cont0 How great is Ralph dancing in a Ballroom dance; How does Bruno rip Ralph after a Latin dance; Mark's injury; Ralph's injury; Kym's injury; A Winner Take All dance. Others not mentioned. Hines is there only twice. If he were truly as poor as you beleive, they could have kicked him off by week 4 without a loss in ratings except maybe Western Pennsylvania and Georgia. The show already had their hooks in the viewers. Too much was going on.

  • @macuser5555 (cont) The reason Hines continued on is (gasp) people thought he performed well - Judges, Pros, and many viewers. It's obvious you don't agree. I don't know if you don't like that he doesn't have the classic dancer's body, he plays for the Steelers, he's an athelete, he placed ahead of your favorite, or some other reason. A case can be made for as many as 6 of the couples to win, but Hines was one of them.

  • @sporadichum Just to answer your question, I personally loved Kirsty Ally more than any of them and I personally like the SF 49ers but that's not why I'm saying negative things about Hines. He was just there to get ratings for the show. I'll bet if the judges were held at gunpoint they would tell the truth that Hines sucked.

  • @macuser5555 In most cases, if you hold someone at gunpoint they'll tell you what you want to hear.

  • @macuser5555 And you don't think KIrstie Alley was there to get ratings???

  • @el7jake Kirsty at least could dance and she did it well. Not the same with Hines.

  • Nah it's a set up. People just can't take it when someone keeps doing well. Watch and see.....you'll eat those rude cruel words.

  • and after the show hines ward got drunk and drove his car home what a jack ass

  • @shiron236 so he tries to act like he is such a role model but really he is just another dumb nigger

  • @96infinitii30 is the n word really necessary? how about nicole, lindsay, and paris's multiple drug uses and dui's?

  • @ashlygirl1234 they should be in jail also

  • @96infinitii30 then racial slurs are not necessary

  • @ashlygirl1234 awww did i hurt your feelings ? besides who said it was said racially?

  • 5:26 5:27 LMAO Hines takes a peep

  • What's up with all the cranky people spewing their venom on this post a month later even?? Apparently, they need to get laid...

  • 5:42 YEEEAAHHHH!

  • choreo was basic not anything special and he didnt even execute it. the only thing good was the lifts and thts it. but i agree kyms amazing

  • @TheSifi1234 Kym said she had to take a lot out of the dance because of the injury and the time they lost

  • @miz91rld ok, it couldve been better with those other tricks.

  • dulgerom, just stop hating on us right people

  • i agree with you pat1215

  • @Pat12151215 Talk about someone speaking out their ass. . . .

  • @Pat12151215 Nice to hear from another jealous loser taking a break from playing with his blow up doll in momma's basement. You have no idea what you are talking about. Other than blow up girlfriend who have you helped lately? Talk about looking for attention, you are king of that. Guess what loser -- he won and he won big. Now sincerely, go back to playing with your plastic girl friend and practice mouth breathing.

  • @Pat12151215 Wow you are a cocky cock.....

  • I love Hines. And I love Kym. And I really love them together.

  • Kym is so beautiful inside and out, I don't know why she is not the favorite pro dancer in DWTS. She is a superb dancer. I hope to see her a lot more in the pro dances from here on. She is just a joy to watch. I'm rooting for her third mirror ball trophy in the USA in the very near future.

  • this is the best argentine tango i ve ever seen in dwts!!!!!! so emotional i almost cried!!!!

  • sorry guys my cousins were messing with my account, and im not 26.

  • the chemistry they have is absolutely incredible....rarely seen.....awesome!

  • they really deserve to be the champions . . .

  • @TheSifi1234 Please don't feed the troll. I find it very sad and VERY pathetic that this 26 year old has nothing else to do with his/her life than trash dancing videos. He has posted moronic drivel on every video. Chelsea has class, too bad a lot of her fans don't. Your comments are so creepy and make so little sense I feel sorry for Chelsea that you like her. Try getting away from the computer, out of your basement and try to meet real people. Very sad person.

  • @TheSifi1234 For poor Chelsea's sake, I'm so sorry a mouth breathing troll who lives in his parents' basement likes her. She needs to take out a restraining order on you. You are very weird.

  • still, these two should be together forever . . . .they belong to each other.

  • @TheSifi1234 You can certainly say whatever you "wanna" - just like everyone else can say whatever they want. . .as for your other comment - where did he move her? He told her to hold still, and when SHE lifted her head, he put his hand beneath it to support it.

"Kissing the judges butts?" what an imbecile you are.

  • @TheSifi1234 The more you post the more apparent it is that a 6 month old baby is more inteligent than you are. Watch again moron. She is trying to get up and he is telling her to stay still. She lifts her head and he puts his hand under to support her neck. You don't have to post anymore, we all know you are an enormously stupid person. Save your energy for practicing waking and talking at the same time.

  • Sorry, 4:00

  • Wow I see why he's such a wonderful dancer. Check out that lift at 3:17 my gosh, I mean its apparent in every lift but that was THE most apparent lift. He's so so scared to hurt her again you see him completely gripping her and supporting her whole weight, he's not taking any risks and letting her support herself. No way, he's not risking her again. I love the way he cares about her. That's the way partners are supposed to be and that's what partners' dancing is about. Trust.

  • So I hear that they stay in constant contact with each other.. Hmm? Also she is going to an event in Charlotte, NC on the 23rd and 24th With Hines yay they are meant for each other..

  • @lanealkarate He was a presenter at the CMT Awards - not sure if she was with him or not (they didn't show him on the red carpet), but he did do a little dance, while he was on stage!

  • So I hear that they stay in constant contact with each other.. Hmm? Also she is going to an event in Charlotte, NC on the 23rd and 24th With Hines yay they are meant for each other..

  • Oh and check ou 3:50 He's gripping her neck to keep it straight, in a typical move her head goes back and as a seasoned dancer its almost instinct. My goodness I love the way he cares for her. Trust in the other partner creates a perfect dance. He's sweet, I had no notion.

  • Ooh haters gonna hate!! Hines and Kym were such a joy to watch. I can't watch any of these videos without smiling. They look like they're loving the dance and loving each other's company.

  • "Who's gonna be the dominant partner? Who's gonna relinquish all resistance? WHO'S GONNA END ON TOP?"

  • Ohh listen to the other NFL fans,,,,,jealous, jealous, jealous. Too bad none of your guys have the heart or soul to do this. Beware.......what you say about the "flags" (not flags, but terrible towels)....the towel has cursed other teams, just ask the Titans.

  • No matter how bad his technique is, no matter how less he does, no matter how much he gets his partners hurt.He will always be a favorite number 1 of carrie ann mostly and the other judges.

  • @TheSifi1234 Does your mommy know you are playing on the computer? I see you posted on every one of his videos. You must be so jealous to do that. Try spending more time on school. "No matter how less he does"? Doesn't even make sense. And they are not flags either, they are towels. If you have no useful commentary just keep your jealousy to yourself. You are just making yourself look stupid. Not hard I know but adults try to avoid doing that..

  • this is not a football game, stop with the flags people.

  • Patriot fans.... what the hell does any of this have to do with you?

PS. I can never forgive your team for cheating... disgusting

  • I love that Hines actually leads. He makes the lifts look so ridiculously effortless. He's also good at keeping connection with both Kym as well as the audience.

  • Absolute trooper... And what a caring guy!! Seeing the emotion after they danced from Hines was so sincere! This was one of there best dances! Ultimate champions ♥

  • countess16, It's nice to hear objective remarks for a change.

  • @emm28bee "Be the Change you want to see in our world!"

  • Soulcornflake, I agree with you 100%. Kym shouldn't have pushed Hines to do this lift.In fact, Hines told her he "didn't feel comfortable with this". I'm sure things will change next season and new guidelines will be put in effect with respect to lifts and other potentially dangerous "stunts".

  • 5:06 "Come on sunshine let's get this on!" I LOVE IT :)

  • FireCaptE9, that is true, they can be big time haters too.

  • What a SEXY, SEXY dance. Such chemistry between them.

  • This was their highest rated season EVER!!!

  • It wouldn't surprise me if the "dislikes" are Browns fans. All they do is hate...hate ... hate!!!

  • @emm28bee Ya never know - they could also be ratbirds fans ! ;>)

  • he is sooooooo cuddly! awww

  • The most amazing dance of all Seasons !!! How many times do I need to see this video that I am not crying ...

  • Ok, I know we're all entitled to our opinions, but how can there be 9 dislikes to this dance?! This was amazing and I am so glad they won!

  • this is the best Argentine tango i ever seen since giles and cheryl

  • @Schianelle 1,000% agree!

  • @countess16 Hmmm....lost the adress on the one below.

  • This tango was one of the best of all DWTS' seasons! I am very glad that they finally won the MirrorBall Trophy, after Kym's injury!I used my voting power heavily for two pairs of dancers only: Petra Nemcova & Dmitry Chaplin and Kym Johnson & Hines Ward. Kym was outstanding the whole season, more "visible" than in past seasons - probably because of Hines - and she proved to everybody that she is definitely one of the best pro out there!

  • @ThinkTwice007 You know what? I agree with you about Kym...I was just spending some time reviewing Hines/Kym's dances during lunch, and she was brilliant in her choreography this season and her costumes were Perfect for each dance. All season long, she looked like she was having a BLAST! They totally Rocked the House...so glad they won!!

  • A Pats fan here saying agree, agree, agree! I agree with you and ThinkTwice007 that Kym called every shot right this season.

Also agree with your explanations of the different roles of the man and woman in ballroom dancing, but unfortunately some people just won't/can't see it. I guess they wanted Hines to wear a tutu and do pirouettes.

Finally I agree that couples dancing is like foreplay. Heck - watching this dance is an aphrodisiac!

  • @listlass A-Men! or A-Woman!! No matter...Thanks and GO PATS!!! Now that DWTS is over, can we just open the stadiums for practice, hey...LOL! In the meantime, the Bruins are keeping us busy over here...sort of our own "black and yellow, black and yellow" LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have an Awesome day!

  • @listlass Oh, forgot to add for the naysayers - please try dancing Kym's part at her level of artistry w/o a partner...yeah...just sayin'...most of us wouldn't even get off the table!

And, the trivia question of the day is: How does Kym get up and stay up in the final lift? Answer: Hines' left hand is taut to provide resistance...just sayin'...the man's work in partner dancing is subtle but absolutely crucial to the success of the couple's routine...but, you already knew that...

  • @countess16 Man, I love you. You really know your stuff but that doesn't matter since (entire favorite's name here) should have won but didn't -- wah wah wah. It would be nice if people actually acknowledged the critique of someone who knows what they are talking about instead of just repeating the same old "Hines didn't do anything, Kym did all the work". Thanks Countess for your input -- some of us appreciate it. Can't say "Go Pats", but will say hope your team does well in the fall.

  • @dulgerom1953 Appreciate your compliments...The old competitive ballroom dancer in me is hard to ignore...LOL! Generally, I don't like to engage in discussions with people who only offer Negative energy and NO facts. But, in this case, Hines not only had MASTERED partnering during the season (unreal for a beginner), but also was performing ADVANCED moves with ease...Very Impressive...imo!!

Went on the record this time because, "If you don't stand for Something, you stand for NO-Thing!!"

  • To me, Hines is a perfect guy. He's not afraid to shake his hips or show his tears. I just love him.

  • Have been watching DWTS since the beginning; each season I think "they won't have anyone good on this time" Wrong!. This was the best season yet. Len said, it's anyone's game and in the beginning I thought it would be Ralph but his knee injury pretty much took him out. Although Chelsea was the better dancer, I think Hines really had the charisma and the fans just loved him. He also gave the credit to Kym as a great teacher. Learning to dance is VERY hard work.

  • Funny comment ERadio,

  • omgg poor kym!!!

  • best dance on DWTS!!

  • im sure the nfl will fine james harrison from the hit ward layed on kim

  • @ERadioiheadIC LOLOLOL!!! Funniest thing I've read. And probably true.

  • Kirsty said if she had to lose, she's glad it was to Hines. That was classy.

  • This is all time favorite Argentine Tango... so hot, so beautiful, so much emotion. In love with the dancing.

  • SUCH A HOT DANCE!!! OMG!!

  • Kym really is brilliant. She's won in Australia DWTS and now twice in the US!

  • There banging!!!

  • @Givyj13 Couldn't that just be because, like you said, we primarily look at the woman, so we barely notice Mark?

  • @Givyj13 Chelsea is not all that. There was absolutely NO connection in her spongy gumby legs Argentine Tango. THIS was a true Argentine Tango.

  • @Givyj13 Thanks for coming in to view HInes and Kym and comment that Chelsea deserved to win - why? I don't understand.

  • Hines protected his partner, which makes him a good dancer. He cared more about Kym's welfare than the competition, which makes him a very good man.

  • This was DWTS highest rated season. Much of this is because of the great chemistry between Hines and Kym and Maks and Kirsty. They really matched everyone up well this year.

  • This is my favorite Tango of this season. Not only Hines danced like a pro; but it seemed to me that if he had any inhibition before, he had none during this dance. I was moved by the passion.

  • this was a hot dance!

  • that is one of the best dance they ever di, hooray, hines and kim, u r tha winner
