I own a 2002 M3 but I started out with a Neon Srt-4 (I also paid $18,000 for it).

I think you forgot about the SRT-4 Neons...They're in the same class as the Cobalt SS, except they're a little cheaper and faster. lol

And one more thing, Stock SRT-4 vs. stock SS/SC, the SRT-4 will win every time. I hate both cars but the SRT will get it. I've witnessed it in person many times.

By the way, the 2005 Cobalt SS S/C STARTED at 21,400 new MSRP, where the 2005 SRT-4 started at 20,700. Throw all the options on the cobalt, it's not going to be cheaper than the SRT-4.

in regards to all the arguments, theyre still slapped together cheap fast cars that go wing ding and spin the wrong wheels,,, they have not endured the research to go fast, as vehicles like the sti, camaro, mustang, supra w.e you like,, these are just souped up cars that will be no where near legendary status when they are rusted out cavalier/ neon type shit cars. the end. you wanna go fast, buy a fast car, not a souped up slow one

not a cobalt fan but love the design...engine with a superchager that can only bring 200+ hp on the car isn't that great and the tail lights are too simple...
However, they're FAST and look good but they need a better design on the tail lights and engine power for a supercharger brings 25%+ boost
