  • General William Sherman was anti-White and General Thomas Jackson was pro-White. Being a White Person I care not to side with a group of People who are anti-White.

  • @RevBillyRayCollins hello did you have another 9/11 party terrorist . And he should have been demoated and executed summairly

  • @TThorne931 A 9/11 party? Oh you are so stupid. Oh but I did "cry" for those that lost their lives over are stupid actions. Had we of not of played favorites with Israel, placed sanctions on Iraq, and had military bases in Saudia Arabia, it could have all been avoided. But alas, we are too stupid. Who would have demoted and executed him? He left the US, why would they bother demoting him when he isnt of their army? Stupid dumbass, you wont ever learn history will you? I bet you cant even name

  • @TThorne931 the war America fought in prior to the war between the states.

  • ps: Jackson was a ,(No Nonsense!), commander!,, he didnt stop to chat with the troops, he was bent on his plan of victory!, he saw a very big picture!=no time for chattin about cousin elwoods goats! ...Jacksons Philosphy>>>"Git her done!!" and damn quick too!

  • I studied him. Despite his eccentricities, Jackson was a very determined field commander that any army would dream of having in theyre uniform!! quite frankly, the man was a fucking genius!

  • his death was the reason why the confederacy lost the war

  • The South would have won if he wouldn't have died.

  • I have to say that Jackson might not have made much of a difference at Gettysburg. He and Lee couldn't beat McClellan at Antietam, and in fact even in the Peninsula it was McClellan's over caution that cost him the battle. The Army of Northern Virginia simply wasn't that successful fighting on Yankee ground. Still. it was a close fight on the second day so who knows?

  • @trajan75 Antietam was an inconclusive battle

  • @jackasskidzify That's one way of looking at it certainly. In my opinion it was an unsuccessful invasion of the North. Had anyone but the ridiculously overcautious McClellan been in command, the Army of Northern Virginia faced potential destruction. McClellan simply did not pursue the retreating Southerners. Lincoln removed him from command but he was replaced by the honest bungler Burnside. Who was given a lesson in tactics by Lee and Jackson at Fredericksburg.

  • @jackasskidzify Antietam was as inconclusive as if I busted into your living room, you have me a bloody nose, and I left and went back home.

  • Thomas Jackson Rip if you lived we would have won and we wouldnt be were america is right now rip general you were the best of General of america but you werent killed by union you shot by your own men because you wore a blueish coat but at least you werent killed by the union why cant the union let us be free why we want to be free but the union attack us demanding us to come back but we dont want to were just prisoners for now but there will be a new civil war soon

  • The Sad thing is, Stonewall wasn't fighting for the South. He was fighting for god.

  • ::::Salute:::::

From the Great, Great Grandson of a Union Private in the 12th Pennsylvania Cavalry 1861-63.

  • There is no America could have won that war for we still suffer from that President policies. The introducing of income tax, I really believe that war should be called the Lincoln Tax War.

  • @mrbloak You're an American because of Lincoln. The income tax was phased out after the Civil War. It was viewed as strictly an emergency measure.

  • stonewall would have talken lee out of picketts charge.

  • stonewall jackson was actually the only person in the south more popular than lee, or at least untill he died

  • @Ace4929 Lee was actually not very popular during the civil war, but Jackson was. The "myth and legend of Lee" arose AFTER the war had ended.

  • @Stender84 exactly

  • LOL

  • @TRUNDLETHOR No thats just a simple rumor my family records states that mary anna morrison was his one and only lover they had one child who turned out to be my great great great grandmother.

  • @13collj Mary Anna Morrison was Jackson's second wife. His first wife was Elinor Junken, the daughter of the president of Washington college. She died a little over a year after they were married from a hemorage an hour after giving birth to a still born son. They say Jackson was a shattered man for a long time afterward. Who wouldn't be? Jackson's first child with his 2nd wife died at one month of age. Life was brutal back then.

  • @stellalouise1 I dont know were you gained this information howerver he had one child with mary anna and she lived to bear two children. I honestly doubt any other women he had realations with.

  • @stellalouise1 Still is.

  • Jackson set up the countries 1 black sunday school & taught it in Lexington Virginia. Jackson did own slaves BUT actually paid his slaves in currency for the work they performed. Jackson like most other officers thought that the slaves shgould have been set free before a single shot was ever fired. And Ron Paul......you prob never knew that. You also prob never knew upon his arrival at Arlington Lee set every slave his wife owned, free. you see things just one way & anybody against you is wrong

  • It's hilarious when anti-American hatemongers cry crocodile tears that blacks were treated poorly in the North while simultaneously defending and celebrating the racist confederacy and its "cornerstone" of NO freedom or liberty for any black person, at any time, ever. What's next---neo-Nazis pretending to be offended by anti-Semitism in the Allied nations? LOL!!!

America wasn't (and isn't) perfect. It's just a hell of a lot better than their alternative of NEVERENDING slavery and segregation.

  • @RonPaulHatesBlacks The Civil War wasn't about slavery, Dixie was the true America. Did you know Blacks often abused the Native Americans as much as the Whites?

  • I can understand Southern pride

cause I am from the SOUTH

  • It's heritage. NOT HATE!

  • @StonewallJackson26 yeah the Heritage is full of Hate.

  • @XrisSmiles You are ignorant. There is as many racists in the North as in the South.

  • @StonewallJackson26 Yeah true, but is a different kinda hate. Most ppl period, dont hate now as they did in the past. Ppl up North are mean spirited anyway, so different groups will naturally hav their share of conflicts. but they are straight forward with it.

Ppl down south have "Ignorant hate". Ppl down south can hate & at the same time think its God's will, lol. Why else was the sound "Ground Zero" for Slavery, Segregation, & the KKK? Southerners used the bible to justify all of the above

  • @XrisSmiles Not all Southerners. You are generalizing. Less than 5% ever owned slaves and the North especially profited mightily from the Slave trade. Slavery was an institution in the colonies way before there were Southern states.

  • @hungarygator I honor Christ & my Church Family, thats my heritage. i never said the North was the Promise land, i never said the North didn't have its share of Racism. But lets face it, any run-away slave from a border state, was not running south to Alabama. ~Point Blank. The fact of the Matter is, for blacks, the North was by far "the lesser of 2 evils".

The Southers r the only ones i know that r proud to have a Heritage that was full of Evil A55HOLES. U dONT That in Germany & Japan...

  • @hungarygator trail by Jury my ass. Tell me Emmit Till & all the rest of the "Strange Fruit" had a free trial. anytime a white person yelled any crime, "it was a nigger" they would hang him on spot, & some times kill his whole community off. Research the Rosewood massacre. some places would put a blacks in jail for even goin in a white church.

ive spent time with alot of Germs & Japs, & all of them were not too proud of their past times. but they didnt have a democracy so the South is worst

  • @hungarygator lol, ur trying to compare apples & oranges. Like i said before, (pay attention this time) Yes, the North had its share of Racism, the North was not perfect, but compared to the South, the it was better for a Black ppl.

whichs states were the last to integrate schools, public transportation, lunch counters, etc.? The South. Which college conference was the last to integrate sports? The Southeast. Wake up dude, im from the south. I dont hate it, but its nothing to proud of.

  • @hungarygator not true. Most Blacks from Chicago are originally from the South, & went there for a better way of life. Thats why Black Chicago cuisine is basically Soul food. That 2 months & whipped deal in Mass, i never heard of that honestly & wont deny thats its true. but damn, how many blacks get whipped & lynch in the south? even for something as little as looking at a white girl the wrong way could get u killed, in the south. u comparing lil incidences with a 2 centuries of abuse

  • @XrisSmiles No they was racism and hatred from BOTH sides in reconstruction. Look at the state police.

  • @Colton8646 thats very true.

But u must understand the difference between hating a race, & thinking they are Sub-Human. To Support Slavery on the basis of race, is to consider 1 race Superior than the other by default. That is alot deeper & dangerous, than just hatred.

there is Prejudice & there is racist. Prejudice may only hate, but Racist that act upon there prejudice

  • i was born the same day as him

  • This great man is proof that people with Aspergers need to be in the military and not IT.

  • I'm saying that "Stonewall" Jackson was trash himself. Him and Lee, and all the rest of them Rebs.

    (From "Shane")

  • @000266617 yankee

  • @000266617 Yankie scum

  • I'm related to stonewall Jackson on and my grandpas side

  • I like poetry, and I like non-hateful southern heritage. I like this video.

  • For the few of you who resent Tom there is no hope. Do your homework. See who you're degrading. He was better than the lot of us.

  • Comment removed

  • God Bless Thomas J. Jackson.

  • I'm related to stonewall.

  • @Bearsnl20 hey so am i

  • You don't have to be a southern, a black man, or biased towards the South to be able to tell that General Stonewall is a legend. He's one of the greatest military commanders to ever live. Everything about Stonewall Jackson and his story embodied what true legends are all about.

  • @lildwayne21 That opinion is shared by many. He would have sided with Longstreet and went around to find a good defensive place and make Meade attack them.

  • its typical he was killed by friendly fire!he was probably asleep @ the time anyway!crazy motherfucker that he was!

  • I love his beard, I wish you could grow beards in the military, it would be badass.

  • @JihadForJesus12 ,in the british navy you can!

  • Without question, Jackson was one of the greatest commanders in the history of the world. Also he didn't want to be called Stonewall; he always said, the name Stonewall belongs to the men, not to me. I'm a Northerner but one must give the credit due to such a man as Gen. Thomas Jonathan Jackson

  • i use to think the civil war was cool, then i grew up, utterly useless, solving differences with violence shows a true lack of intelligence...stonewall was just another warmonger as well as those who led troops on both sides.he got what one deserves.no pity from me.

  • @witecracker2 He fought in defense of his home, if that is pointless to you, then by all means, let communism, or fascism or tyranny, or dictatorship take hold. Enjoy it, I on the other hand will fight for my home and the south until my dieing breath.

  • @TheBoberton oh me to , what i mean is humans are pretty lame to have to keep fighting over and over,if he was such a great person than so be it..he is dead, another failure of humanity, sorry ...i guess i will have to fight to,i will fight to, not that i want to.

its a position that is forced upon people who would rather find a better solution then killing...i should have known better to comment on this video, there are more than enough better things to do...

  • @witecracker2 When you die, you will be a failure of humanity, that means that all people who die are a failure. And you should have known better than to insult a man of honor.

  • @witecracker2 And according to your argument, everyone has been, and will always be, failures of humanity. You will be a failure, even if you bring world peace forever, you will still be a failure because you died (an unavoidable part of life).

  • @TheBoberton I respect and acknowledge GEN STONEWALL JACKSON

as a hero.the fruits of his labors have made it a reality to me living off his labors, thank you sir you inspire greatness,

i retract any thing that might have suggested offense,

    at the ready

  • @TheBoberton i revere stonewall Jackson and asked for forgiveness, learned more and i should have not spoken too soon, i respect the man

  • @witecracker2 Thomas Jackson was openly against slavery, operated a Black Sunday school and fought only because he was asked too. He wanted to protect Virginia which he did until his death at Chancellorsville. How can you say he was a warmonger?

  • Likely, had Jackson not been killed at Chancellorsville, he would have made sure that one of two things occurred, which may have swung Gettysburg to the Confederates' advantage. Thankfully he was killed prior to Gettysburg. First, he may have won the race to Little Round Top. Failing that, he most certainly would have advised Lee against what became known as Pickett's Charge. Most importantly, unlike for Pickett, Lee would have listened to Jackson's protestations.

  • @rickcee

I don't mean to insult or wrong you...this is just an honest question. How can you be "thankful" for any man's death as you say here? Yet, Jackson was a great general and even a greater man of G-d. He was against Slavery, as shown by the way he was friends to many blacks & how he had bible study & taught reading/ writing for slave children. My point is....we as finite humans should not be "thankful" for any man's death but leave such matters to G-d, for He decides such things.

  • @rjweber89 Well, let's see. First of all, Jackson's family owned 6 slaves. He was something of an abolitionist, but nonetheless owned slaves and said that god probably condoned slavery (which of course is horseshit). Secondly, don't ever use the fact that someone was a man of god if you're arguing with me. I'm an atheist and have been all my life, and frankly, I don't believe in any gods. If fools wish to believe, that's fine, it's in the Constitution, but I don't need "gods" to be a good man.

  • @rickcee

I am not going to argue with you on the point whether is a G-d or not, however, on the point of Jackson, you cannot study him and claim to know much about the man without speaking of G-d, for weather you are or not a man of G-d, he was. He owned slaves, but did not mistreat them, he let them marry and practice faith, a freedom they most likely would have been denied in another slave owning household. Though I believe that he was wrong on keeping slaves, he worked to respect them and...

  • @rjweber89 You have GOT to be joking. "He owned slaves but did not mistreat them." Listen, I don't deny that he was a good man (considering the times and the place) but buddy, you don't have to "believe" he was wrong to keep slaves. Your (or mine for that matter) opinion means less than nothing when it comes to whether any man should "own" another. There's no opinion necessary. As for Jackson's beliefs, who cares? Being religious does not portend "goodness." Atheists are no less good people.

  • @rickcee

Oh please do not think that I believe that he was right in owning slaves...and I wish I could say the he did not own any at all. Though there is no justification for owning another human being, at least he did better then many and raised them up from nothing and taught them to read/write, etc.

"He saw it as his responsibility to improve the lives of his and other slaves, more than ending slavery. He was, by all accounts, a very kind and fair master. He and his wife were guilty...

  • @ricjcee

of the "crime" of teaching slaves to read. They also educated them in both religious and secular subjects. He saw to it that both black and white were allowed to worship at his Presbyterian church, where he served as a deacon. He and his wife taught the all black congregation, which had to worship seperatly from whites at the church. Because of this, he is cited as one of the more influential people in the early history of black churches in America.

  • @ricjcee

Several of the men he and his wife taught became some of the first black ministers in America after the war. On several occasions he is quoted as saying he wished the Virginia Legislature would outlaw slavery."

there you go....I will say no more

  • @rjweber89 Okay, okay...I give. You don't have to sell me Jackson anyway. I already think he was brilliant and decent. The fact that he was a god nut just made him a whacko, but it didn't make him a lousy general or a bad guy. The point is, all our founding fathers, most of 'em anyway, were hypocrites. They were against slavery yet they decided they couldn't afford to free theirs: Jefferson, Washington, Madison, and on and on. I just think we have to be clear and honest about our history

  • @rickcee what made Jackson such a great man was the fact that he WAS a "God nut". had Stonewall not been a Christian, and not afraid to to die, he never would have gotten that moniker.

  • @thompsonjeremiah Hmm..What makes you think only xians are not afraid to die? Not only that, but he wasn't a great general because he wasn't afraid to die. He was a great general because he was a great tactician, he was tough, and he was a great strategist. He may have had some extra element of bravery due to being delusional enough to believe in god, but it's not what made him great. You actually have the audacity to suggest that what makes a man great is that he might believe in god? Hahaha

  • @rickcee You know you would flinch if shot at. He didn't. And at least those who believe in God know we are going to a better place. "If you deny me before man, I will deny you before my father."

  • @rjweber89 (continued)...and, as for being thankful that he was killed--since I believe that the principal issue of the Civil War was INDEED slavery (if you prefer, you can use "states rights" but to me it's semantic, since the "states right" that the south wanted to keep was the right to own slaves), and since Lee was not as good a general as he was WITH Jackson, I'm glad Jackson was killed so the north could win. Simple answer. If you want a longer answer, ask me and I'll go further.

  • @rickcee

Have you not heard that Lee was very very much against slavery! He was fighting for his home....not the right to keep slaves. He didn't want the government taking his home state and telling it what to do. If the north had brought down the technology they had for farming....slaves would have no purpose once this happened. Many of the southern generals were against slavery & would have given it up, It was the southern governments who were extreme (like SC) who would not give it up.

  • @rjweber89 Please...Lee was intellectually against slavery, yet he kept them at Arlington House. True, it was a family home of his wife's, but it was given to him and his wife by his father in law. The slaves remained there until Lee moved his wife to a site near Richmond once he took the post to lead the Army. And as for your semantics--"fought for his home." EVERYONE who fought in the Civil War was fighting for their idea of "home." Lee decided to choose Virginia over "America." Your point?

  • @rickcee

....did what the L-rd willed him to do, that is, bring the slaves and all men to salvation. He thought that as long as the L-rd's will that their be slaves, he would not interfere with the plan of G-d, though he did not understand it & thought that the southern government should have freed the slaves. He did what he saw the L-rd wished him to do, that is live for his faith. Jackson was no perfect man by any means, but we cannot judge him too badly because we were not in that culture.

  • today on the anniversary of Gen Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson, Jan 21st .

    Always remembered.

Cpt Carey F Grimes, my relative, KIA at the Battle of Sharpsburg 17 SEP 1862, Portsmouth Light Artillery. Fell at Pipers Farm just beyond the 'sunken road'

    Deo Vindice.

  • Your ancestor was the divisional artillery for Anderson's division. The Portsmouth Light Artillery battery was disbanded on 4 October, 1862. When Captain Grimes was killed the battery was merged with the Virginia (Huger Artillery Battery) and the (Lynchburg Beauregards artillery battery.)

"Centennial of Grimes' Battery" found in the SHSP, 37th Volume (Jan-Dec, 1890).

A must have book, "Wise, The Long Arm of General Lee."

Sorry to read about your ancestor, he did all he could do.

  • May the pride stay with you brother .

It's likely that im related to TJ Jackson

infact i bear his forename and surname.

  • I wonder what Gettysburg would have looked like if Stonewall was there......

  • @MiniInloesteam they would possibly won if Stonewall was there thats the truth that's why he had to die.destiny plays on sides.actually some people say Stonewall would have not chosen Gettisburg for an assault.

  • General Lee undoubtedly knew that when General Jackson died it was the beginning of the end for the confederacy.

  • @MiniInloesteam I wonder what Gettysburg would have looked like if Grant had been there. But neither were there.

  • @Deej1125 Lee was a perfectly competetant taticion, even if jackson was alive i expect he would have controlled the eastern army defending Virgina.

  • @MiniInloesteam i may not know about that, but i tell ya, if he was there, then there would be the stars and bars flying over the capitol building today

  • @MiniInloesteam A union defeat

  • great general of the civil war he lived fighting for his nation but i don't like what his nation standed for politically

  • Tell me, what did it stand for?

  • hell, i don't like most of what the US stands for politically.

  • And what is that exactly? Freedom? Your just an ignorant ass!

  • truly great tribute to great man 5 stars

  • truly a southern hero a military mastermind Thomas Jonathan (Stonewall) Jackson was quite possibly the most brilliant military officer on either side of the civil war in truth he wasnt all that smart he made up for that whith dogged determination but had he not died the south would have gone farther possibly won

  • Except he his Deaf because of the cannon fire "CANNON WHERE HUH HUH HUH"

and sometimes he can Fall asleep everytime

  • @dim432 What? Please use English, not misspelled gibberish.

  • god bless you gen stone wall Jackson sleep well truly a giant amongst men keep flying the flag boys deo vindice

  • Karl Marx once said: "Proletarians of all nations, unite!" This is the slogan of the socialists that believe(d) in the brotherhood of man...this is one of the core concepts of socialism. you should`ve known that, boy. tsk tsk.

  • or ahve you ever heard of a Confederate Union?

  • nationalism and socialism are like two adversaries. they were the reason why peasants and soldiers and workers revolted against the upper middle class, see Paris or Bavaria in the middle of the 19th century. thus, you can`t simply put them together, unless you alter the meaning.

  • Brandon, learn to spell M-I-S-S-O-U-R-I

with a single "r" and not 2! mu har har.

  • sorry dude, i partly grew up in west europe and hence, had a proper education especially in history. i even visited engels`home in germany, ha ha ha. the neo-nazis would cut your throat if you called them socialists. hahahahah, you could give it a try.

  • Nazi is short for

    National SOCIALIST Party

Nationalism an ideology, a sentiment, a form of culture, or a social movement that focuses on the nation.[1

    '

By that definition Socialism and Nationalism can in fact be put together, simply believing in socialism to be the focus of your nation. Which is essentially what the Nazis did. They focused on what they believed was good for Germany, i.e. Socialism, which in the end ended up destroying Germany and collapsing it's economy.

  • nationalism+socialism=nationalsocialism according to the nazi propaganda

BUT these are two opposingpolitical ideas, just like Union and Confederacy. tue socialists believe in the brotherhood of MAN, the Nazis didn`t do at all! if you were that smart as you pretended to be, you would have known that!

  • Brotherhood of man? Why can;t everyone just believe as they wish without being forced to always agree? Socialists believe everyone needs to agree, God made us ALL different, everyone has different views, socialism takes that away, there are opposing views everywhere, so socialism will NEVER work, it takes peoples rights to own their own business, own their own firearms, speak freely, and takes away the people's right not to be taxed without having their say heard,

  • lol, back to your original comment: mentioning the definition of socialism as propagated by marx and engels makes me a hitler-fan?you re sick, kid. hitler and socialism/communism are light day and night. they couldn t agree with one another.

  • lol, talking about facts

thnks a lot for amusing me. in one of your videos, missouri was wrongly spelled.

do i really have to take you seriously?

  • Hypocrite much? You're 29 and don't capitalize your sentences or proper nouns.

  • nah, im a lazy fella. at least i can spell them correctly compared to you.

  • you live in the united states of america, theunion. why don t you simply go back to your unstable country called "Banana-Republic"? im just defending the Union which ultimately prevailed.

-Always stay true to the red, white and blue or perish from the surface of mother earth, rebel biatch!"

  • You can't argue with fact. I liver in a corrupt socialist country run by a bunch of uneducated fucktards known as the Republicans and Democrats. I live in Florida. I see myself as a Floridian and a Southerner, then an American. Yeah your telling me ton get into the 21'st Century yet you support an idea that was invented over 150 years ago and has FAILED miserably EVERY TIME IT HAS BEEN USED!

  • yet what really counts that MY flag is still waving over capitol hill and thnk god not yours. I strongly believe the right side has won. get over it, boy. you re like the neo-nazis in old germany who still stuck to an idiotic idea.

  • and you 15 yr old boy with no pubic hair are rebuking me? you can t even keep up with me! no i didn t say that all americans are stupid, only those who are advocating the "lost cause". welcome to the 21st century, mother`s boy.

  • if you were that smart then you d know that hitler knew nothing about the actual idea behind socialism as defined by karl marx. you can t combine blind nationalism with utopian socialism. he gave his version of socialism a totally different meaning. where are you from? from one of these unstable banana republics?

  • Socialist countries barely last half a century, almost every Republic has SUCCESSFULLY lasted over 200 years, the Republican Government of Rome lasted 500 years until Julius Ceasar overthrew it and replaced it with a dicitatorship, which gradually degraded it to a point where it was so large,e split between 2 corrupt leaders, military spreaded out, taxes were extremely high, and it collapsed.

  • Socialists mainly share the belief that capitalism unfairly concentrates power and wealth among a small segment of society that controls capital through exploitation, creates an unequal society, does not provide equal opportunities for everyone to maximize their potentialities and does not utilize technology and resources to their maximum potential nor in the interests of the public.

ps:hope you illiterate bastards can read.

  • if i were you, i d try to borrow me some books from the library about politics and political ideas. karl marx and friedrich engels ( i doubt you ever heard of them at your redneck school). educate yourself before speaking up, lad. it`s embarrassing to see you guys. hitler has never been a socialist, idiot!

  • and if Pershing and McArthur would have been at gettysburg, the south would have been totally wiped out.

  • Another great son of ULSTER (Northern Ireland)

  • Some recent research asserts that Jackson was "fragged"(intentionally killed) by one of his own men

  • lol shit happens.

  • I'm just stunned by the pictures of the Chandler home at Guinea Station in the snow - we come from less than a couple miles of there and snow happens so rarely it is really impressive - particularly w/the view to the western setting sun toward the railroad tracks - it's a masterful shot.

Regardless of anyone's view of the War, it will remain an enormous part of our history as a country, and a record of remarkable generals and enormous sacrifices on both sides.

  • sleep well gen jackson hero of the confederatecy you have done you duty sir god bless the south keep flying the flag boys deo vindice

  • What a great general he was :) a true hero. Greetings from germany.

  • General Lee actually freed his slaves, read the book Recollections and Letters Robert E. Lee. After the War of Northern Aggression he became president of Washington University in Lexington, VA. After his death it was renamed to Washington and Lee University. So he was not a farmer after the war. His sons did go into farming, working the lands that had belong to their mother's father. Jackson is still one of the greatest tacticians in the history of warfare.

  • I see breathtakingly ignorant and hate-filled spew like this, and I ask, "What made him feel so impotent and powerless that he rages like a madman?"

The funny thing is, if Lee,or Jackson if he had survived, had happened across "studvalley116" after the war, they would be the first to try to help him. Even if stud was spitting and screaming his hatred at them, they would have done what they could to ease his pain - whether it was to give him clothes or food or simply their forgiveness.

  • You say, "what i say is hate filled with good reason"

What good reason do you have to be "hate-filled"? What did Lee or Jackson do to you? You must be REALLY old. Were you killed in an attack by their troops? Did Jackson give you a bad grade on Principles Of Artillery course at VMI in 1860? Did Captain Lee make you walk guard duty as punishment in Indian Territory in 1854?

Hard to see how either man wronged YOU so that you are justified to be, as you admit, "hate-filled"?

  • Studvally116 is not even from America, faggot is from Britain.

Interesting that Lee's father, whipped the shit out of them in the American Revolution.

  • i suggest both of u read the 10th ammendment. it says that the states have all rights that are not specificaly listed and given to the feds. those are the rights we have lost

  • Much more importantly, the People have those rights.

  • if general lee had a stronger force during gettinsburg south could have one

  • if General Lee didnt completely fuck up and send the mass of his forces in a suicide run up the middle, completely ignoring his best General, Longstreet's advice, the South would have won.

  • lol this is just an assumption. the north did what the south had done before at fredericksburg, defending their territory.

  • Whoa learn some history. slavery was far from the main reason. try the in tense tariffs that were only being implied on the South, and the opression of state rights.

  • dude....LINCOLN owned slaves; the emancipation proclomation kept the slaves in union territories in perpetual slavery until the 13th Amendment was passed. Dont believe it; go read a copy of the Proclomation

  • You are very wrong! The they left the Union because they wanted to govern themselves as the founding fathers did Tariffs and taxes and different ways of life were the reason. How could the war have been fought over slavery if only 6% of the South owned slaves? Do some research and forget what they said in school!

  • your right, 6% of the south owned slaves. but 6% is a lot! thats about 1 in every 17 owning slaves. slavery in the south was a vital part in the southern economy. and lincoln was anti-slave. since lincoln wanted to end slavery, the south didnt like him. slavery wasnt talked about in the constitution, and the 10th amendment says that issue is left up for the states to decide for themselves. well, i think violating the 10th amendment is ok if it means ending slavery and preserving the union.

  • Once again forget what they tought you in school. Lincoln was not going to free the slaves! Why do you think he waited as long as he did. It was a military decision to free the Southern slaves to hurt the South. He did not free the slaves in the North! Do more research!

  • forget what they taught me in school? oh yeah, fuck school ill just listen to some punk ass kid on youtube yeah im sure that will be great! anyway i didnt lern about the civil war in school this is just my own opinion.

  • we clearly see you never had a proper education at school.

  • You are an idiot! We do not still have our rights! The federal gov. is trying to take our rights away. The federal gov. is to big and has to much power. Forget what they said in school and learn the TRUTH!!!

  • we dont have our rights? really? what rights dont we have?

  • No freedom of speech for one. If you speak out against the gov. the label you a terrorist. The us gov. does not believe in the right to bear arms. The us gov is letting illegal mexicans into the country on purpose. They don't want us doing anything about it. They do alot of illegal stuff and try to get away with it. Vietnam was illegal!

  • what the hell are you even talking about? i speak out against the gov. i hate obama and his communist cabinet. most republicans believe in the 2nd amendment, and people can still own guns. i know governments are corrupt but the original argument was the civil war. you sound like ur a hippie.

  • Vietnam was illegal!

there are no legal or illegal wars, you faggot! wars are a needful evil.
