  • Lead singer david reilly, he was my uncle rip, little more than 6 years now since he died

  • 15 Minutes was without a doubt Robert De Niros worst performance ever

  • @92af yeah he died in the flick

  • this is an excellent cover! i remember when i first heard it over a decade ago i thought it was a marilyn manson cover for the longest time. i mean, he worships david bowie...and this song sounds like it could easily have been on the mechanical animals album.

  • Not as good as Bowie - but cool

  • duran duran still does the best version of fame.but I enjoyed this too.

  • good version

  • if you want to put it on your ipod convert this video into an mp3 file then put it in your itunes file then download it in your ipod.

  • ive got two of there albums.

  • how do you get this song on your i pod??

  • @gymnasticsbrittany The song doesn't seem to be available on iTunes. I have the MP3 somewhere on one of my computers, but I don't know where you can get it for sale. There are music extractor programs where you can pull the music from the video, but I've never done that before. Sorry! Maybe you can find the sountdtrack on ebay or half.com for cheap and rip it to MP3.

  • I never thought anyone could do it better than Bowie but DAMN!

  • David Reilly died unexpectedly at 5:15am on October 16, 2005 from complications of a coma brought on by pain medication for an abscessed tooth. He was 34 years old.

  • @JANXDPDX Do you know what medication it was?

  • David's final album, How Humans Rx, is coming out in May and being released by an undisclosed source.

  • Supposedly 100 physical copies are being made. I will be getting one of them, I cannot wait!

  • They are done. I got my copies from the manufacturer, the rest are back east.

  • what!? why so few copies? plz plz plz post some trax. GLU is so underrated.

  • So few due to financial reasons. All the proceeds are going to his only surviving nephews college fund. If you know someone that wants to invest in replication let me know. We'd be happy to release the SHIT out of it.

  • @threnodyfilm Please, find a way!

  • @detoxscission please post it online.PLEASE

  • Incredible! I'm so happy for u guys! I miss u all. Loved vending on the Sextasy Tour 1996.. long time.. no time.. endless time.. we will find the time.. ~Caryn~ St. Louis, MO.... love u!

  • @7BlockEnt Did u know them? Love, Flowr

  • I didnt know this remake was part of a movie. I've loved this version for a long time too, and all of GLU's other work.

  • I like this a lot and I love bowie!

  • I really enjoyed this song a lot when I first head it, oh so many years ago... was it right before up off the floor? Ah, high school memories. RIP Dave.

  • great cover from a killer band... and an ok movie. RIP David.

  • timbearcub is a bitch--

get back to sucking your father's dick

  • RIP dave :(

  • I'd have to disagree. I always felt that the original wasn't much more than it's beat and bassline. if it had been at all different, I wouldn't have liked it at all.

GLU took that same beat and bassline, and changed the beat just enough to match their style.

I'd even go so far as to say it maintains the attitude of the original, but like I said, I didn't think all that much of the original in the first place.

  • This Song And This Band Rocks

  • A cracking cover for a suberb film . . .

  • I know; you said it.

  • a very underrated cover.
