He is a great guitarist, but not quite fully developed as a songwriter/performer. However, there are people on guitar idol with great feel. Muris Varajic for example, but don't listen to the actual guitar idol version something went horrible with his tone. Listen to the one on his channel.

@JMorr1029 you need to Listen to more of Damjan. and Listen to Muris Varajics "Final Dance" and Daniele Gotardo "Cardiology". Absolutely amazing composers. Steve Vai was dumbfounded that Daniele didn't win and signed him to a record deal right there in London.

It`s great playing, but where is the originality? I mean, everything he plays sounds like Greg Howe?!! I`m not bullshitting, the guys got great talent, but with so many tools that he has, he should try and branch out. If I could play like that I`ll try and go for my own sound. The tone, and style, everything is GH straight up: Take small portions of it, alter it and make it your own style.

Less face it, the bassist and drummer stole this one, and made this guy way better (and he is very good, but without their support....he is just another tech guitarist with a few borrowed ideas).
