  • Can you do this test again with the 3.5L ecoboost just for fun? haha that'll put it to the top of the list

  • The only thing worse than a Toyota Tundra is a Honda Ridglein; looks like the bastard child of a Subaru and Pontiac Aztek.

  • The Tundra is super fugly with those tail lights that hang way out from the body. I was behind one of those POS today and was just shaking my head and the numbskull that decided to buy one. I had 265K miles on my last Ford F-150 and just traded it in for a 2007 FX4 with only 33K miles on the ticker. That's my vote of confidence for Ford; have had nothing but good experiences.

  • thumbs up if right at the beginning of the clip you thought it was Whip It by Devo starting.

  • can anyone tell me which model comes with locking rear diff? thanks.

  • @2WheelinTacoma I believe its the FX4

  • I used to religiously like Toyota trucks but seeing these F-150s and looking at the numbers, I think my opinion has changed. But I still and will always love the Tacomas for small pickups... The Tundra, not so much anymore.

  • @TheKoreanX

I agree, it looks like my mom designed the Tundra

  • @PackinHeat77 I will say that I do like the styling of the Tundra. But if you don't like it, that's fine.

  • @PackinHeat77 Hell Yeah dudes who drive tundras probably take bubble baths, use lotion, and watch glee.

  • @TheKoreanX my family has owned toyotas our entire life, and we absolutely loved our 05 tundra, then one day while driving home from vegas last year, the engine burst into flames. right after the incident, i bought a 2010 f150, and it is overall so much better of a truck then the tundra ever was.

  • I'm sorry but a half ton truck is not big at all. A Super Duty is a BIG truck.

  • They recently sued a Ferrari because of the name! How can you compare a tractor and a plane!

    Idiots!

  • I don't like the new front end as much. Other than that, it's very nice.

  • wow i wounder how it will look in 20 years

  • The new model is impressive close up,but a little overdone.I prefer the original 2004 redesign.Despite the good competition, the F-150 is easily the best, most refined, and most aesthetically appealing truck on the road.

  • Ford has been waiting a long time for this....the fastest most powerful truck engines are NOW IN THE FORDS.Chevy, dodge,Toyota, can't keep up now ,365hp out of a v6 haha now look who's on top.Ford says fuck all of u

  • LIEING A** Ford Automobiles!!!!! Stop Lieing Ford!!! YOU JUST FN SUUUUUUCK!!!

  • I love my 2010 Ford F150 FX2 Sport (:

  • my dog has more torque then this toy truck.it's designed for noobs

  • @simulation17 mmhm. Who else couldn't believe your dog can tow 11,000 pound trailers and 5 star government crash test ratings?

  • I have a F150 XLT super crew 4x2 2010 , have 292hp and mmm like 300 torq (stock), with 20's rain wheels, i travel to the beach monday to sunday, (JOB HOUSE HOUSE JOB) i take the sand road way ;) in the sand and listening bob marley looking the sun smoking my cigarrete thinking... "fuuuckk i love my truck""

  • hoorah to ford for being something other than a drag race vehicle its a work horse its your drive around loaded in bad weather with little problem reliable loaded with interior feature vehicle if you want to knock ford you should do your research first and not proclaim such because its not trying to be the fastest truck in the world

  • Comment removed

  • its the best i think has the best and most advanced traction control on the market for full sized trucks its not trying to be a drag race car like the other trucks its built with intention to meet all demands to the best and be economical in price and fuel vehicles should not be judged completely by how fast they are thats stupid it has more bells and whistles than any other truck on the market but it has intentions for reliability driving in horrid conditions working its a&& off for agoodprice

  • freaking old rebuilt dodge

  • I love all trucks models and names but i have to say FORD is my favorite plus growing up my dad told me if i was going to get a truck and he paid for it-it would only be ford so of course that's what i'm in. Still got a 97 f150 that my dad had for 14 years and look never had a problem except new air condition once.

  • This is a little off subject but I own a 2000 ford ranger 4x4 3.0 and always been happy with it even though I'd like to get an F-150. It has had only very minor issues but nothing easily taken care of. I just get extremely tired of all the chevy guys always ripping my ford and saying its cheap and I always end up asking them when they're gonna get theirs out of the shop.

  • I am still driving my 1987 F250 Lariat 4x2. I had a 1997 gmc sierra. wasnt the same so i went back. I love my Ford. Not the best mpg with the BIG 460 V8. but the best truck ever!!!

  • But what can you haul in this Car/Truck?

4 feet of cargo? Not even big enough for a TV? What about a treadmill?

  • wow crackers these days

  • That is what I call air suspension. Not air in the suspension but air in the tires. (LOL).

  • @NewToyotaTrucks you can like chevy or dodge. but imports are just a damn sin!

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @NewToyotaTrucks You can like whatever you want personally I don't give a fuck if you like Toyota's or not. But as a Ford guy...No as a car/truck enthusiast I don't appreciate people coming here talking shit about my favorite brand. And realistically the Tundra only had the F-150 beat on one thing and that was the Powertrain. But as of 2011 the F-150 will be the most powerful 1/2ton in the segment.

  • Comment removed

  • @NewToyotaTrucks And you didn't give any facts as to show that the Tundra is better either. If you want facts how about this, As of 2011 the midgrade 5.0L V8 will be rated to tow 10,000lbs tying with the Toyota Tundra. And the 6.2L and Ecoboost engine will outright beat the Tundra with 11,300lbs. All Engine's in the 2011 F-150 will offer more power/torque than the Tundra engines they compete with, 5.0L vs 4.6L and 6.2L /Ecoboost vs 5.7L...(Continued)

  • @NewToyotaTrucks Also there its widly known that the new Tundra's are far less comfortable to tow any weight with than the F-150. And I speak from personal experience with both. Having towed over 5Klbs with both a 2009 F-150 and a 2010 Tundra I will say that the only thing I felt the Tundra beat the F-150 in was power. Its 5.7L out powered the 5.4L, But as 2011 that issue has been addressed. Also worth noting is...(Continued)

  • @NewToyotaTrucks Also worth noting is fuel economy... The 2011 F-150's are rated at up to 24mpg highway the Tundra's best is 20mpg. And I know EPA rating's are sketchy But driven under the same circumstance's the 2011 F-150's DESPITE a heavier curb weight will, Outrun, Out Tow, and get better fuel economy in the process. Frame rigidity is another were Ford has them beat, I bet 90% of the people watching this clip have seen the clip of the Tundra almost losing its bed going over the ruts. (Con'd)

  • @NewToyotaTrucks And for those that haven't I suggest watching it. So what have we covered, Fuel Economy? Check: Power? (As of 2011 Check), Frame Strength? Check. Fords new 5.0L V8 is rated at 10K towing, and is EPA rated at 15city and 21highway so it tows the same as the Tundra 5.7L and gets better mileage while doing...WHILE costing less on initial purchase. And don't get me wrong, I don't hate Toyota, I take Ford over Toyota yes, But Toyota is not a major competitor in the 1/2ton market.

  • @NewToyotaTrucks I personally feel if this is the best Toyota can do in making a 1/2 ton then they need to just drop out of the 1/2 ton truck market and spend all of their assets and money towards developing a better small truck.

  • Comment removed

  • @NewToyotaTrucks I stated many of my opoions yes But I will lay out facts for you.

Yes the EPA has relesed numbers for both the 3.7L base V6 and 5.0L V8 Which are as follows. 3.7L 17-24mpg and 5.0L 15-21mpg and that IS a fact. The 6.2L and Ecoboost have not yet had figures released. Another fact is that the F-150 IS rated to tow more than the Tundra. Like I said even the smaller 5.0L tow's the same 10,000lbs that the Toyota 5.7L V8 tows. (Continued)

  • @NewToyotaTrucks And if you think I'm bullshitting you I'll send you a link to the site were I got all my information (It wont let me post it here so I'll send you a private msg) But this site has tested the 2011 F-150's with ALL engines and have given their thoughts and the facts that Ford has given them about it.

  • Comment removed

  • @NewToyotaTrucks Alright, links coming your way.

  • @NewToyotaTrucks Ok so now I have sent you plenty of (Actual) reviews not just from one particular site either.

  • Damit. What a waste, you should have given it to me, rather than looking it die.

  • Its not so much the Ecoboost that's getting my dick hard as it is the 5.0L V8 in the 2011s. Getting me one of those bad boys next summer.

  • 2011 Engine line up NICE!!!! Actually I just checked Fords Site Final numbers are released, Eco Boost, 365 Horse @ 5000 RPM, 420 FT/LB of Torque at 2500 RPM Looks Promising!

  • @Zinizzle damm right

  • Aerodynamic improvements 1:03 hahah. Look at those side mirrors! They produce lot of aerodynamic drag !

  • My truck was built with wrenches...yours was built with chopsticks

  • i like fords but the only problem is the acceleration. it sucks

  • ford is the nices truck i see on the road and thats why thet been selling better then DODGE for 32 year haters

  • @church400c good point the f150 has been the best selling truck for 32 years

  • pretty sick truck and its not like ur gunna drag race in it

  • how much cost one of these?

  • @blackjackwlf the 2010 or 2011 starts at 23 and can go all the way over 50 000

  • @THEACDC1995 thanks

  • @blackjackwlf no problem

  • I would have bought the F150 except I can't stand that interior. Those dot matrix gauges are just absolutely hideous. I bought a Tundra instead.

  • @TheKoreanX fag buy american we need it fuck that jap shit

  • @primobal3 I am the customer... Therefore I am always right. Besides, the days of "American made" are over. Almost all of GM's products are made in China or Canada and assembled in the US. Toyota probably makes more cars in the US than GM. If you want to buy American, buy a Toyota.

  • @church400c on Honda.com they have mileage markers and one of the Accords has 907,000 miles on it and not a problem with it its a 1990. 20 years old. my brother had a 90' accord thats 20yrs old also.

  • Pisses me off this cant be qualified as American Made since its DPC is only about half. WTF Ford

  • So which one is gonna last longer, this or the new Ram 1500? I'm in the market and just started searching

  • @SBPStudio Ford seems to have a better reliability and durability rate, but I like them both just the same.

  • I purchased a 2009 F-150 Lariat, and let me tell you it is by far one of the nicest and toughest trucks I have ever owned. It tows an 8000 lb boat like nothing was there, and is rated for more. Interior to match equal or better to cadillac or lexus. MOre room than most 4 door cars. It has a lot of standard safety features that are great. It is safer (look at the crash tests) and tougher than Hondas or toyotas. And for a truck, gas milage isn't bad, even though that isn't a concern to me.

  • @stllu562 You must live in Michigan.

  • @cougarsstudios Nope, thankfully I don't! It gets too cold there. I have to live somewhere warmer with bodies of water near by, that include tan semi to non bikini'd bodies! :-)

  • @stllu562 Well you had me fooled. You sure sound like you live here.

  • badass

  • The truck is great the Warranty is Garbage. 3yr/36,000 miles.

  • Chet so what I know a friend with a Ford Focus with 320K> Its a 2002. He lives in the hills

  • you want to pay obama for a piece of crap? go buy a chevy.

  • Comment removed

  • wow has ford gone gay.......who the hell needs all this luxury crap the ford f150 my dad has is a 2005 its a just a workhorse nothing fancy, it doesnt even have power windows thats wat a real mans truck is not these ugly ass nancy boy trucks

  • @MrEggwhites agree, I never understood why every truck test drive is a top of the line models. These trucks will never get used as trucks, They should test base/lowend models those are the real working mans trucks not these.

  • i'd take ANYTHING over a ford

  • @fordsucksGOHONDA um yeah Honda's a just SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better even though my friends 2007 Odyssey just keeps going back to the shop for the same things. A loud ticking at start up to shut down, BENT RODS thats plural rods, and a trans that went out for the second time just last month. all this crap from a 2007 Honda. But yet their SUUUUCCCCHHHHH good cars.

  • @Lexlus42 And i owned 2 Toyota corolla's i had a 2003 and a 2005. Ironically both cars had brake issues, starting with the 03 it would start up get hot then die first year of ownership, my brakes made me so mad it would be fine a night and in the winter but during the summer and daytime i could forget about going anywhere my car would stop at an intersection if i wasn't careful. then i have this stalling problem four months later it almost killed me by a old hag in with an Armada. I junked it.

  • @Lexlus42 then you have that 2005 POS edition Corolla. that car that tipped me over on Toyota forever. All the same freaking problems that my 03 had only now its a black car with black leather living in the most hot and humid place in America. Mind you I was in collage In Arkansas with my friends. I bought the car from a shyster in Conway. He gave me the this car this and this car that BS When i fell for it after my first experience i thought never again. but now I know to stay the freak away.

  • @Lexlus42 Oh is that why my brothers ford(that he hates)was in the shop 3times in 1day and broke down 3times in one day. Also my moms 2006 honda has never been in the shop and it has 130,000miles onit.My brothers ford has 121,000 miles on it.The other day when my brothers cars was in the shop we saw a honda civic with 420,000miles on and has never had a problem with he also said he only had it in the shop for a oil change. How about u find a ford with 420,000miles onit and with no problems

  • @fordsucksGOHONDA And I have a 1986 LTD with 619K well its my dads. He also has a Ranger with 413k. Now a days thats not rare anymore.

  • @Lexlus42 do u hav to pay alot money to mantain it? on Honda.com they hav mileage markers and one of them a 1991 Honda Accord has almost 1,000,000 miles on it and all he has to do is a oil change

  • @fordsucksGOHONDA Good for you, but do you realize that your dollars went to japan instead of staying here where they matter most. People who buy foreign cars are selfish because they only care about themselves and don't look at the big picture. You are part of this country's economic problems. Be American, and buy American cars made here to help in correcting this. Everyone's children need an American future, and people like you are killing it you putz!

  • @stllu562 yea nooooo the money stays in America it goes to Honda of America. so ur calling me selfish and my family no we are totally oppisite of selfish. Its American car comp. fault because they cant make good quality cars

  • @stllu562

I don't care about money. It's the government's job to give me money.

  • Buy american fuck foreign cars

  • my 95 straight 6 f150 can pull a 5600 lb bobcat on a 2300 lb trailer with the bed full of scrap metal no problem. Once I accidently let the guy at the concrete recycling place load 8000 lb of gravel in my 2600 lb dump trailer, and the truck was able to pull that. I would take an old american straight 6 over these new V8 any day of the week. And WTF is up with them putting pussy ass aluminum heads on these big v8's?

  • Cool car but very poor at crash test

  • @adythekiller I think you got this truck confused with the 1997 to 2003 year model F-150's. F-150's have been the safest trucks on the road since the 2004 redesign.

  • that truck need's bulls

  • DODGE CAN U Make a real truck please

  • AMERICA FUCK YEAH

  • @khiry222

    what`s that suppose to mean

  • My boss has a standard 2000 XL F-150 4.6L V8 with close to 250k and it is still going strong. I rented a few pickups and just love the f-150. Just rented a 2010 F-150 from u-haul a couple weeks ago and did not want to return it!!! LOL

  • Fuck that piece of shit. Chevy all the fuckin way

  • @heavychevyowner

Wow, no wonder your comment was hidden. You're just an idiot. Chevy all the way huh? I guess you voted for Obama. Now don't get me wrong, I love Chevys. Vortec motors are champs on the road. But you gotta wonder why there are practically more Ford half tons than any other half-ton on the road. It sure the fuck isn't because they suck! I'd know. I own an 07 5.4L XLT supercrew 4x4 and I love my pickup!

  • @phattacorider nah actually i did not vote for obama and i have a 5.3 vortec and a 6.6 duramax and i would put them up against any ford anyday!

  • @heavychevyowner

Put them against Ford, and prove what? You can't prove a damn thing kid. It doesn't mean shit which maker can tow the most, cuz if you're towing more than 8,000lbs in a half ton or 10 tons in a 3/4 or 1 ton, then you're just a bonehead. It doesn't mean shit which is faster, because no truck is faster stock than the SRT10 anyway (which is a Dodge pickup in case you didn't know). GM and Ford get similar fuel ratings, you can't prove a damn thing idiot.

  • @phattacorider alright tuff guy with his bad ass ford. i wasnt talkin bout speed bro i will put my duramax up against any superduty anyday and competition i have buddies that own superdudys and balls to balls i would take my dmax over their trucks. I still dont mind their trucks i am just sayin mine is better!

  • @heavychevyowner

Speed is the only thing you really can compare in Ford vs GM you retard. What other competitions are there? Truck pulls? Those don't mean SHIT, all they prove is which driver knows more about traction, and which truck has the most traction at that moment. See, you can't even say HOW your truck is better. And no, your "buddies" don't have Superdutys, in that case everyone's buddies have Superdutys. Seriously kid, get real. Your truck is no better.

  • @phattacorider how in the fuck do u know if my buddies have superdutys or not. give me ur phone number or e-mail i will get pics i dont care. We hall snowmobile trailers up north all winter and we rotate whos truck we take and with the same trailer and 5 sleds every time i would honestly take my dmax over them anyday dude ANYDAY. Once again not sayin there bad trucks just sayin mine is better. So no u get real kid a buy a chevy. PUSSY talkin shit over youtube grow the fuck up dude

  • @heavychevyowner

ROFL, you're saying I'm a pussy talking shit? Look at yourself kid. Also, you still haven't PROVEN how your truck is better. Just because you like your Chevy better doesn't make it better than a Superduty. It's called PREFERENCE. Look it up in the dictionary, you might learn something retard.

  • @phattacorider my truck is better because it hauls better it does way better in the snow and mud o ya and it tows fords out when they are stuck hows that dumbass

  • @heavychevyowner

Fords tow Chevys out of stuck situations, handle just as well in 4 wheel drive situations, and hauls just as much and with just as much handling capability you retard. All you have are BIASED OPINIONS. You can't give any actual proof of Chevy's superiority over Ford (which there isn't any). Gosh you're an idiot. I'd love to meet you and bitch slap the shit out of your stupid ass.

  • Really happy with my 2006 F-150. Owned it for 4 years now and til this day I have not encountered a single issue with it other than minor routine maintenance. Great truck always dependable and reliable! Ford make's the best pick up trunk hands down!

  • Ford is the best vehicle by fact all i have owned is fords because they are the best truck made to pull what i need which is a 43 foot long horse trailer. GOD I LOVE MY F-450 AND MY F-150

  • haha 5.4 310 chevy 4.8 makes 300 lmao

  • @chevydiesel350015 yeah your tranny in the chevy will be shit in, ill give it 45k to be generous, and the 5.4 will out tow your silverado any day of the week, lmao

  • lmao i never had a tranny problem cuz chevy builts there stuff to hold up to power and ford can't and out tow my ass them 5.4s r gutless i kno had 2 of them and a 4.6 all fuckin gutless jokes

  • @chevydiesel350015

You mean Allison builds good transmission's right? Only good thing about GM is the Allison. And I wouldn't go as far as to call the 5.4L gutless. Its been on the market since mid 90's and had few updates, Of course it won't have as much juice as newer engines. But Its going to be a sad day for you GM guy's when Ford brings out the new 5.0L and 6.2L V8's. This will just be another nail in GM's coffin.

  • @MercuryMorrison1 haha cuz ford can't do better then the what they got fuel hog guttless junk takes em since the 90s to figure out how to build something better and they still be fuel hogs

  • @chevydiesel350015

You act like Ford pickups get incomparable fuel economy to GM Pickups. I mean lets face the facts. For both half-ton's They get (ON AVERAGE) yes I'm emphasizing that word for a reason. Less than 20mpg but more than 10mpg speaking in 1/2 ton terms. So on average both trucks get roughly 14 to 18mpg divided between city/highway driving. Depending on driving habits either truck can be between 14 and 18 mpg. So your calling Ford's engine's gas hogs is an irrelevant argument.

  • @chevydiesel350015

You also say that it took for that long to figure out the 5.4L was a terrible engine? #1 How is it terrible? I've compared its economy to that a 5.3L Chevy already. Its bad because generally its not quite as fast as the 5.3L? The 5.4L is a truck engine threw and threw. Most of the time its power numbers do fall a little behind GM's 5.3L, But it make's up for it in torque, and at much lower RPM's on top of that. The 5.3L is corvette derived block. Its an over square high RPM.

  • @chevydiesel350015

    Yeah maybe so.

But Fords new 5.0L V8 which WILL be in all F-150's make's 411hp with just 0.2 more liters...Hmm.

  • @MercuryMorrison1 kool bout time they try to do something different lmao

  • @chevydiesel350015

    (Cont'd)

The GM 5.3L is made to make horsepower at high RPM's. And everyone that has ever towed more than a Jet-ski knows, That its not high RPM horsepower that helps you tow. Its Low end torque. And for those who take their trucks off road...Again torque. Chevy's trucks are the most car-like on the market today. And that's not a compliment. Their trucks are getting softer and less rugged with every redesign. Ford is still keeping some rugged in their trucks. End of story.

  • @AxelofBavaria painful ,right?

  • 7.8 secs "below average"?!?! It's a fucking truck for crying out loud!

  • @gajda1984 below the competion's trucks average

  • @gajda1984 many trucks can do this under 6 sec so stfu

  • @level2seven It doesn't affect their function as trucks, i see you have a case of internet attitude.

  • Just bought my f150 lariat one month ago like this one, it's amazing truck! you have to drive one to feel the power and everything else on this truck.

  • towing lol..hahaha

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • Come on man well they did redesign it but they forgot one part the Engine come man this 5.4 liter engine struggles to make the truck move now towing 11000 pounds as advertised towing capacity? WTF man this think CANNOT TOW 11000 pounds i cannot image 45-60 MPH while towing that load

  • haha have you ever drove one there old boy? go drive one then come back with critisim if you have any thing negitive to say that is.

  • ford circles the problem!

  • @spiketv561

you know what kills me...that joke...cuz its not funny...the ford symbol does not have a circle around it...its an oval...see us smart ford people can distinguish a circle from an oval ***FAIL***

  • is that your best comback? what ever shape you wana call it its still around the problems name

  • did you think it was funny though? hell no...did someone tell you how funny it was lol hell no..u prolly typed it because you THOUGHT people would laugh...lol is that why you typed it?

  • my first comment that i made isnt a comeback it is starting something.where is your comeback buddy? was the comment u just made it?

  • at least they don't put a bow tie on it

  • @spiketv561

And GM just put's a bow tie on their problem!

  • Hey guy's I haved towed with a dodge ram and an F-150 yes the ram is faster but when towing 6 atv's each truck behaved totally different the dodge would not shift into it's final gear resulting in high rpm and using twice as much gas as my F-150 the dodge is a looker but not a tower.

  • I have no idea how the new f150 is supposedly able to pull 11k. They put that on the commercial to make people like u think it can. I wouldn't be caught dead in that truck pulling that much weight climbing hills on the interstate. The smallest engine in it's class and the most tow rating. Lol. Leave that weight for a diesel.

  • That's the thing: All three trucks can tow 11,000 lbs. of weight with their engines. Probably even more. It's the frame that makes the difference, and possibly shock and suspension engineering. Take a look at the Dodge Viper: 600 horses and 560 (I think) feet per pound. But can it tow a trailer? Nope. The frame isn't designed for that.

However, I will concur with you on the basis of highway towing and hills. It's a bit strange about the smallest pulling the heaviest. O_o

  • this video contadicks there other ones proves this guys stupid watch truth about trucks please you wont buy any other truck except a ford f-150 after watching it other trucks are garbage

  • any1 who hates ford is just jell of them

  • My 09 RAM is crap..... Hemi Rocks but im on my second tranny in less than 2000 miles. i dont even tow....... only 11000 miles on my truck. I'll look at Chevy or Ford next time around.

  • well thats fine and dandy, but the 4.7 still wont out run a ram hemi. the 4.7 is a joke and the 5.4 will barely get out of its own way. ford needs a new engine design BAD!!

  • the ram might be faster but ford has the highest towing and thats what makes a truck a truck

  • it isnt made for speed its made to work it will out pull all other trucks in its class guys are stupid

  • What's wrong with the Chrysler 4.7 it provides just as much hp as a Ford 5.4. Fords, Dodges and Chevy's all have their pros and cons and all have great engines. And a truck's purpose is not for out running it's for work.

  • your truck aint beating no 5.7 hemi bro. the f150's are the slowest of all fullsizes.

  • its not about out running the others. its about more capability. how much can the ram load? is the ram american made? Yes, but not american owned and the money goes to Fiat. that is not cool!!!!

  • i just got a black 2010 f150 stx 4x4 with a 4.6L v8 and it is amazing and it actually outran my friends dodge ram 5.7

  • 6.2 will pump out 425hp and 425lbs ft

  • I think it would be bad ass if Ford did a retro 70s appearance on the next getn F150. I love those 70s model F150s

  • european cars FTW!

  • its only 4x2

  • 2:16 slower than the ram tundra and chevy? Why on earth will Ford not make a truck that can haul ass? Why ford ? why!?

  • its called Harley,or saleen, or Raptor, and its in my driveway, 5.4 with plenty (the raptor, that is) of power, more than enough for 100 mph highway

  • if you see the review of the 5.4 raptor they say it lags behind the competition as well...just go ahead and look it up..they recommended not buying it until they add the new mustang boss engine to the raptor.....but I do give credit to ford for looks and interior quality...but if they could consistently make trucks with pure power then they would have my business..

  • i happen to have one, and it has plent of power. not to mention its gun as hell taking parking lots at highway speed

  • well its good you have one but just know the numbers dont lie with the 0 to 60 times....of course it is better than a 4 cylinder but if you are going to put a v 8 in an off road specialty truck why not make it the biggest and fastest if the rest of the truck is top of the line...

  • it will be the only f150 to get the 6.2 boss v8 with 411 hp and 422 lb ft of torque, plus this engine is the same as a shelby mustangs so it can be supercharged to 540 hp or more with a warranty

  • thats true I just wish they would put the boss engine in the sct raptor stock..its clear this truck is bad ass and has many good features along with good looks....if someone will spring for a truck like this I am sure they wouldnt mind springing for a fast engine for a fast truck

  • svt*

  • it wil come in the stock truck for 3,000 dollars more. the 5.4 i have starts at 48,000 dollars, the 6.2 will start at 51,000. a 6.2 reasonably equiped shoudnt cast too much more.

  • thats true..still alot to pay for a truck, but its good looking and not many upgrades would be needed because it comes with so much stock

  • and there are 5 auxilary switches standard on raptor for aftermarket mods, like kc lights or a winch. they are allready pre wired from the factory

  • Comment removed

  • my uncle has one of these and after only 17,000 mile the transmission gave out, and he does not use it for work

  • I bet your uncle let the oil run dry.

  • wow looks like the older trucks are better

  • Commence drooling.

  • The govt. shouldn't have bailed out Chrysler and dodge. I like the new ram but I think if a business is failing, that's their fault

  • GM asked the gov't for another advance...and their taking that money to another country to start up a line out there....so your taking the US taxes payers money to build on some other countries soil??lol wonder why our country is struggling...

  • A couple days ago I was told that GM was pulling the plug on Pontiac and Saturn. In 2008 Sales, GM sold 1,800,000 Chevys, 376,000 GMCs, 267,000 Pontiacs, 188,000 Saturns, Cadillac came in at 161,000, Buick was 137,000 , Hummer ended up at 27,000 and finally the Saab at 21,000. Now what doesn't makeany sense to me is why the hell would GM think about getting rid of their 3rd and 4th top sellers and not get rid of Saab and Hummer all together? They are digging their own hole.
