  • Its really sad the way people treat their animals...I dont know how they do it. I feel like a terrible person when I cant feed my BP every two weeks (4.5 year old on med rats). He actually just quit his 9 month no-eating fit which really worried me. People like you should be around a LOT more!

  • You are great :)

  • wrong type bedding id get her off that soon as possiable holds good humidty but she needs alot water bowl also to get clear inside of to be able to soak..i have been doing reptile rescue for over 8 years now been dealing with reptiles for over 26+ years just offering some in put i now have 16 ball pythons i have as pets..

  • WOW. She is TINY for that age

  • That's a beautiful ball python. Seems like she has a nice clean belly. Has potential there. Hope she gets back to her normal weight and has proper substrate (not the one in the video I hope) and scheduled meals. Good luck and keep us posted!

  • Thank you. the enclosure and substrate you see here is the enclosure I brought her home in. It's what she was kept in with the previous owner and it was very yucky!! She is settled in now in a proper enclosure with good heat, substrate and humdity. Thanks for watching!

  • <3 ppl like you.

  • very nice vid and ballpython

  • Nice looking ball. Always breaks my heart when animals are neglected. I know it has a good home now. You'll bring it back to health in no time. Look forward to more videos on s/he. Good rescue Susan.

  • Thank you Greg. She is doing much better now just a week later! I think she will make it. =D

  • get her on rats there more healthy

  • Nice pickup. I to just took in two new ones. I got them from the local pet shop. Not sure I would call it a rescue, but they were not taken care of very well at the shop. So thought Id get them. Ill have a quick slide show up in a bit of them. 5*

  • Thank you Shannon! Doesn't it just bug the heck out of you when you see them not being cared for properly?

  • Yeah, When they are not that hard to take care of. Then seeing people not take care of them. Its not that hard. If the people cant take care of them they shouldnt buy them. They should know what they are getting into before they buy

  • Thank you Rick. I appreciate you watching and thanks again for subbing!

  • Very Cool Susan,Now She Is In Good Hands,She Is Given To An Awesome Keeper 5*

  • Thank you Gerry. I appreciate your kind comments. She deserves a good life and so far she has not been treated very well. I hope to turn that around.

  • 5*s Nice that she has a good home now and she knows you will love her and give her a great life. She really is small. I recall when I got Tipr as a rescue he was so mean and miserable and now he's the most loving of all my snakes. Love works wonders with these creatures.

  • For being so mistreated, she has a very sweet personality. I am finding that reassuring and I hope I can improve her health as quickly as possible. You are right Carla, a little love and tenderness can go a long way. Thanks for the kind comments!

  • Animals know who likes them. She'll do okay.

  • Yes they do Paul - they have good instincts about people. Thank you!

  • Wow 1.5 years and only 234 grams? She's in good hands now, best of luck!

  • Thank you Diego. Ya can you believe how low weight she is? I'm hoping she will eat for me and start to put on weight. She has a lot of catching up to do.

  • How you found out that there was a ball python getting neglected

  • Believe it or not I learned about her on Craig's list. The guy who owned her came back from his duty and put her up for a new home. He didn't really know how to deal with her I think. He has one leopard gecko left and it looked pretty healthy.

  • Way cool of you to take that in...hope it gets bigger and better very soon. :)

  • Thanks so much John! She is looking a little better already and she has been exploring a bit so she shows promise.

  • great to know she'll live a great life now that you have her now susan :) great rescue

  • Thank you Adam. I just hope I can help her get caught up on weight. She has some lovely markings!

  • Poor little girl! At least she's in good hands now!! :) Great rescue Susan! 5*

  • Thank you Bobby - I appreciate your kind comments. I just want her to be healthy.

  • She'll be fine, from the video, she doesn't look emaciated or anything. She was probably just getting enough food and water and stuff to survive. She's not showing a pronounced backbone, and is still round in appearance, so she should be easy to fatten up rather quickly. Take care, Brandon

  • Thank you Brandon - I appreciate your assessment of her. I truly hope she will eat for me and then I will feel better. She has a very sweet disposition surprisingly.

  • shes in good hands !!!:)

  • omg DID U SLAP THE DUMDASS!!!! u should of i would made the snake bite him before we left.... i hate that GRRRRRRR hey omg here is postive finnaly some good video quality lol jk

  • great save susan 5 stars 4sure she has a great home now

  • wow nice lookin take great care of her

    ~Nick

  • wow... way to small for being 1.5 years old... Thats like as big as my like 4 month old female. (maybe alittle bigger)... Im hopefully getting a female pastel BP this sunday too.

  • She is teeny tiny. As a comparison, Amber our 2 year old BP weighs 1081 grams.

  • yeah, I know most females for breeding are around 1200 grams atleast... and thats at like two- three years old... I need a scale so I can weigh my snake/s

  • poor thing shes in a good home now

  • Yes it's very sad and it makes me mad at the same time.

  • yeah i hate it when things like that happen im sighning up to paw justice a anti animal abuse company in nz that makes anti animal abuse merchandise with a yellow paw on it and saying paw justice and all the money you pay gose to animals

  • Poor thing, atleast it has a good home now.

  • Thank you. Yes I nearly cried when I saw her. I wasn't expecting her to be so small.
