Man i hate this crap. Why the 5 second long Kiai's that is such bullshit and unnecesary. Kai's are a beginners tool to help train proper breathing when striking and blocking. This is overkill and lame.

i dont know the rules, but screaming is usually done at the attack phase, i dont know why they are doing it after the attack

still good stuff, and you build up good lungs for screaming in martial arts.

It's a Kiai, Or "cry of spirit"

In competitions it's generally over exaggerated. Standard Kiai are supposed to be short and sharp expulsions of air, not full on screams.
